If I could meet a historical figure it would be Selena Quintanilla-Perez. Selena made a huge impact in the Hispanic community by embracing who she was and changing the way Tejano music was heard. Before she died she won a Grammy for best Mexican American album and started a clothing boutique. She is a culture icon and role model for a lot of Latina girls. It would be a dream come true for me to meet someone who is as beautiful and humble as she was.
If I could ask her anything, it would be how she stayed true to her roots and embraced who she was when she had a lot of people judging her being Mexican-American. This is an important question to me because in life, no matter where you are, people judge you. A lot of people conform to be the person
