Recently, I saw a Ghost in the castle watch towers who resembles my deceased father. I am unaware of whether or not the Ghost, which appears at night is my father or if I am hallucinating. Tonight, the Ghost told me something that astonished me; he told me how his death occurred, and why my mother married my uncle, Claudius. He told me that my uncle murdered him while he was sleeping in the orchard and that his death did not occur due to a snake bite; my uncle butchered him so he can become King of Denmark. Hearing what may be the truth come from the Ghost shocked me as I did not expect my uncle to do such a thing. Now, all I feel towards my uncle is anger and hatred, and I plan on getting revenge as the Ghost has asked of me. To avenge my

Citizen Kane Analysis

...Film History & Research Citizen Kane Film Essay Orson Welles' Citizen Kane Success the first time around is very uncommon. Orson Welles's first feature film richly realizes the full potential of excellent craftsmanship. Citizen Kane is almost indisputably the greatest achievement in the history of filming. In 1941, this film was considered by many as the best film ever made. This film is about the enormous conflict between two twentieth-century icons, publisher William Randolph Hearst and the prodigy of his time, Orson Welles. The rather overwhelming beginning of an opening sequence is still as electrifying as any in the history of movies. That tarnished sign on a forbidding black wire fence is the first thing we see in Orson Welles' Citizen Kane. Citizen Kane is a movie about perception and projection. Indeed, with the complex theme the whole movie seems to be placed in a kind of psychological trauma for the viewers. Citizen Kane is a portrait of a public and private figure that remains tantalizingly unfinished. Excellent acting was revealed for the first time as these new roles played out. Orson Welles was a director ahead of his time and his portrayal of Kane shows his acting ability. This film is one of the first films to rely heavily on style and visuals; Citizen Kane uses camera, lighting, and set techniques to show Kane's rise and fall from power. The movie as a whole, though as artistically satisfying as a picture can get...

Kingdom Hearts Aside

...For six years, Kingdom Hearts fans have been waiting for the release of the third game in the series. And while the wait has been agonizing, Tetsuya Nomura has kept a steady stream of spin-offs and side stories coming in order to flesh out the history of this series. But in expanding upon the relatively simple stories of Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2, things began to grow more and more complicated. Now, with six games in total making up the series, the plot is a near-labyrinthine mess of connections and revelations. It's confusing for long-time fans and near impenetrable for newcomers. In mere weeks, Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance will be releasing on the 3DS and promises, according to Nomura, to lead directly into Kingdom Hearts 3. It's with that in mind that I have decided to unravel the plot of the entire series for those who may have missed the opportunity to play some of the spin-offs and those who just want a refresher before diving into the new game. I have also attempted to make this as inviting as I can for newcomers to the series who decide that they want to start with Dream Drop Distance. Be warned though that this timeline will spoil everything in the series so if you want to go in fresh, then it's probably a good idea to refer to this timeline later. With that introduction out of the way, let's begin… ------------------------------------------------- KINGDOM HEARTS: BIRTH BY SLEEP The story begins with a young boy named Ventus and an old man named Xehanort arriving...

To achieve these objectives, the researcher employed a survey research design. A random sampling technique was used to select one hundred and fifty (150) students in five (5) selected secondary schools in Lagelu L.G.A. Out of 150 respondents, only 109 respondents completed and returned the questionnaire for the purpose of the study. Major findings from the study establish that; 1. Students from stable homes perform better academically in mathematics than their mates from broken homes. 2. Students from broken homes do not enjoy the degree of parental care compared with their mates from stable homes. 3. Ielts

...1. Q: Let's talk about your hometown or village, What kind of a place is it? A: My hometown is a laid-back village on the outskirts of Beijing. It's a pretty appealing place—quiet, low-key—which dates back hundreds of years but was never known for anything special, so far as I'm aware. The immediate environment is relatively good and the soil is rather fertile. Small fields surround the village, separated here and there orchards. Most people from the village work the land. They're farmers and their ancestors have always been farmers, which naturally creates a certain mindset and character. Of course, many young people are unsatisfied with this type of life and its corresponding outlook, so some of them have chosen to leave. The village is aging rapidly and the population is decreasing. 2. Q: Do you like your hometown? Why or why not? A: Naturally I love my hometown. Small towns like mine are apt to produce really distinctive characters among the people. Local residents are familiar enough with one another that everyone finds a slightly different social role and takes her role seriously, as it is a form of her identity that allows him to deeply engage her neighbors. This, in some ways, is similar to the formation of a family, where we notice difference among each other more clearly. As a result of this phenomenon, in my view, it's often easier to find a broader range of personalities and interests in small towns than in large cities, where interaction is frequently more...
