Welcome
Congratulations on joining WakeUpNow! WakeUpNow’s business model is built on the oldest type of advertising: wordof-mouth. Instead of buying advertising like television and radio ads, WakeUpNow pays commissions for sharing its amazing products and services with others. It is important to understand that all commissions are based on the sale of products and services to end consumers—that is to customers who purchase WakeUpNow products for their personal use. When you elect to convert from a Preferred Customer to a distributor (Independent Business Owner or IBO), you have taken the first step to earning commissions. You don’t earn commissions for recruiting other IBOs, but you can earn commissions whenever those IBOs or their customers buy products and services—and the more IBOs you bring in, the more products your organization can sell. This guide is your quick look at how WakeUpNow IBOs make money when they share the business with others.

How do I get paid?
WakeUpNow pays three types of commission: Retail Payouts, Team Payouts, and Luxury Payouts. The most important things you need to know about qualifying to make money are: 1. Be Qualified. You need 90 Volume* each month to qualify. You get Volume by selling products.† You don’t have to buy anything yourself, but if you do, those purchases count toward your 90 Volume requirement; for example, our popular Platinum subscription generates 90 Volume. All commissions assume you are qualified. 2. Your Customers and Sales. When a customer you refer or a customer who is referred by someone on your team makes a purchase (see details on page 4), those purchases automatically generate Retail Payout commissions for you. When others buy products, you can make money! The more you sell, the more Volume you generate and the more you earn. 3. Your Team Size and Structure. As you share WakeUpNow with others, they can become qualified and sponsored to your team. The position of qualified members in your team organization, and the overall Volume of your team determine your rank and how much Team Payout commissions you earn (see page 6). 4. Extras. Luxury Payouts are extra perks that you can earn by meeting additional requirements (see page 11). Enroller vs. Sponsor. All Payouts are calculated based on purchases and these two relationships (enroller and sponsor). When someone becomes a member of WakeUpNow via your marketing website, you are always their enroller. It is to your advantage to be the enroller for as many members as possible. Likewise, you are usually the sponsor. But you can use the Waiting Room feature in the HUB to place people elsewhere
*Volume in this guide refers to Commissionable Volume (CV) which is a fractional percentage of actual dollars. † No product purchases are mandatory. Any IBO with 90 Personal Volume (PV) is qualified to earn commissions.

within your team for up to seven days after they sign up (all members must be placed before the end of the commission month). See how relationships affect commissions on page 18.

How do I start?
As soon as possible, read the Quick Start Guide for tips on how you can get started building your business using proven strategies that the most successful business builders have used

before you. You will notice that the Quick Start Guide recommends you focus on building in threes, or B3H3G3 (Bring Three. Help Three, Get Three customers). This strategy is about growing your customer base and your team organization for success. As you enroll your first three IBOs and they become a part of your marketing organization and meet their minimum customer requirement, you will be laying the foundation for success.

Retail Payouts
Retail Payouts are paid from each qualified retail purchase made by you, your downline, or any customer referred by anyone in your marketing organization. WakeUpNow is constantly adding valuable products to the HUB, but here is a partial list of qualifying purchases (note that many purchases repeat, creating the potential for residual recurring income). • HUB subscriptions (like Silver, Gold, or Platinum) • On-demand products and upgrades (such as the Pro Bundle, or upgrading your WakeUpNow Protect) • Deal Stream offers • WakeUpNow Select Products (such as Awaken products) • Purchases made in the Marketplace With Retail Payouts you can literally get paid to help others live a better life! There are two kinds of Retail Payout: Personal Retail Commissions and Group Retail Commissions.

Personal Retail Commissions
Most retail purchases generate an immediate commission. The commission is a percentage of the purchase price (up to 40%). Personal Retail Commissions are paid on sales you make personally in which you share the deal or introduce or otherwise enroll the new customer.

Group Retail Commissions
A small portion of each retail purchase you make personally, as well as sales that occur from IBOs enrolled downline on your team, down six generations, is paid to you as a Group Retail Commission. As you enroll more members, your potential for earning money in Group Retail Commissions can really skyrocket!

Group Retail Commissions get even better when you reach F7. For those who reach the rank of F7 and higher, ALL Retail Purchases in your downline contribute to your Group Retail Commission, except purchases where there are four or more IBOs who are a rank of F7 or higher between you and the customer making the retail purchase.

5

Team Payouts
Team Payouts are tied to your rank, which is based on the size, sales volume and configuration of your sponsorship structure. The recommended strategy of B3H3G3 helps you advance in rank as you cultivate a high performance team. You can advance through three levels of Team Payout: Director, Founder, and Executive. Plus, you can qualify for special Leadership Overrides.

Director
You will probably start your journey with WakeUpNow as a Preferred Customer (PC). PCs start with no volume and are unqualified. But once you make a sale or product purchase, you begin to accrue volume! Once you achieve 90 volume, you are qualified (QPC). Refer another PC who attains 90 volume and you become a QPC-1. Refer two and you become a QPC-2. When you get a third, you are ready to convert to an IBO and become a Director 3. Bring Three—the first step in B3H3G3—means directly sponsoring three others. With three QPCs or qualified IBOs (who have each achieved at least 90 PV) on your front line, you are eligible to become a Director 3 (D3) and receive a Team Payout called the Director Bonus! The Director Bonus is $100 per month every month that you meet the requirements as a Director 3. The B3H3G3 strategy will help you get to the next rank as you Help Three do what you did. All team members downline from one of your front-line members form a line in your organization. Those three front-line members will form the required lines, and the customers and IBOs will contribute the Volume you need to achieve the next rank.

6

Income Disclosure available at wakeupnow.com/ids. Avg. IBO earns less than $100 Version 3.2014.001

This is about helping your front line IBOs build their front lines and customer bases to continue growing the sales on your team. This requires you to take on the role of a leader—a mentor to members of your team.

Founder
The first Founder rank is Founder 3 (F3). To reach the rank of Founder 3, you must be a qualified IBO and sponsor three qualified lines with a QPC or a qualified IBO and a minimum of 360 Volume in each. A Founder 3 no longer receives a Director Bonus, but instead receives the next level Team Payout: the Founder Bonus, which starts at $600/mo. We call this the 600 Club! As you increase your Volume, your Founder Bonus grows. You can progress through the higher Founder ranks by adding qualified lines and increasing the overall Volume of your team (see page 8). Founder rank progression is F3, F4, F5, F6, and finally Founder 7. F7s earn a Founder Bonus of $10,000/mo.

Executive
Beyond Founder ranks are the Executive ranks. Executives continue to earn $10,000/mo. in Founder Bonus, plus the Leadership Overrides. Executive ranks require only that no more than 35% of your Volume comes from any one line and that the Volume generated by your team reach the corresponding level. Team Payouts for each rank are listed in the chart on page 8.

Customers and Structures
IBO to Customer
The most common relationship an IBO has is with the customers whom with he or she has shared the WakeUpNow products. Insiders and PCs are always directly linked to the IBO or customer who referred them. IBOs need to maintain a minimum of three customers at the Director level, seven at the Founder level, and ten at the Executive level each month. Preferred Customers, Insiders, customers who checkout or redeem shared deals as a guest, really any customer who purchases retail product, can count toward this requirement.

Enrollment Structure vs. Sponsorship Structure**
As IBOs share WakeUpNow with others and they become qualified IBOs, a marketing organization is created. There are two structures to be concerned about, which reflect two types of relationships: Enrollment and sponsorship. These relationships are created whenever a new IBO or customer enrolls. All commissions are affected by these two relationships.

18

Income Disclosure available at wakeupnow.com/ids. Avg. IBO earns less than $100 Version 3.2014.001

Sign-ups during a shared deal redemption are typically Insiders and are automatically assigned with the enroller and sponsor username of the person who shared the deal. PCs typically enroll via another member’s marketing website. Corporate website sign-ups require the new enrollee to enter the username of an enroller and a sponsor (they are often the same).

Enroller
When someone subscribes as a member in WakeUpNow via your marketing website (provided for all IBOs and PCs), they are always automatically enrolled to you. Enrollment relationships impact the Retail Payouts (page 4).

Sponsor
By default your username is also automatically submitted as the sponsor when Preferred Customers sign up via your marketing website. Sponsorship relationships impact the Team Payouts (page 6) and Luxury Payouts (page 11). You can view both structures and how each customer and IBO in your organization is connected from within the HUB.

Why WakeUpNow?
WakeUpNow pays very competitively compared with other companies. That makes it easier for you to generate extra income and make a real impact in your life. The detailed version of this guide entitled WakeUpNow Compensation Plan can be found in the Resources section of the HUB, or at wakeupnow.com/comp.

...The U.S. Census Bureau Field Data Collection Project: Don’t Count On It Dominique Reed IT/205 - MANAGEMENT OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS 10/13/2012 Jennifer Gilmore • How important is the FDCA project for the U.S. Census Bureau? How does it impact decision making and operational activities? The U.S. Census is an enumeration of the American population performed once every 10 years, also called a decennial census. It is the responsibility of the United States Census Bureau and is used to determine allocation of congressional seats, allocation of federal assistance, and realignment of the boundaries of legislative districts within states. Correctly managing the census leads to billions of dollars in savings, improved service to the public, and strengthened confidence and trust in government. Reports from the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) and other sources suggest that the 2010 census represents a high-risk area that has been mismanaged for years. The bureau botched implementation of the Field Data Collection Automation (FDCA) program, an effort to integrate handheld electronic devices into the census data collection process. The handhelds were intended to replace the millions of paper forms and maps that census workers carried when going door to door to collect household data. Paper-based methods for collecting and recording data made gathering census information time-consuming and difficult to organize. The FDCA program is intended to assist with the initial step...

...The U.S. Census Bureau Field Data Collection Project: Don’t Count On It Alicia Pepitone IT/205 05/04/2012 Terence Burney The U.S. Census Bureau Field Data Collection Project: Don’t Count On It The Field Data Collection Automation (FDCA) project is important to the U.S. Census Bureau, because it helps by collecting information of residents by using handheld devices rather than paper. It was supposed to cut the cost and replace paper with an electronic device. By using these devices the residents just sign this device as if they were signing for a package and it should have cut the amount of time it took the bureau to collect this information from the citizens. There is a lack of accountability in the FDCA project, there was poor communication mainly due to them not anticipating the amount of information these handhelds would have to take in to memory. The bureau lacked to give accurate system requirements and scheduling information. “The system has a variety of components, carriers, devices and applications to organize and coordinate” (The U.S. Census Bureau Field Data Collection Project: Don’t Count on It, Jean Thilmany, 2009) page 413. The Bureau should have tried harder to get updates from the Harris Corporation. The project was just too immature to do a job of this magnitude. The FDCA project continued on in 2010, but was far less efficient than they initially thought it would be and cost a great deal more at three billion in funding...

The U.S. Census Bureau’s Significance on Social Security

...The U.S. Census Bureau’s Significance on Social Security Abstract This paper briefly details the significance of the United States Census Bureau, a human services organization whose data is used to formulate major decisions that impact both the federal government and the people. The key issue elected for discussion is social security, a program designed to support the needs of our senior citizens, as it relates to a growing population of seniors calculated by the United States Census Bureau. Subsequently, the paper briefly highlights some of Burger’s thoughts on the issue and concludes my perspective on the organization and Burger. The U.S. Census Bureau’s Significance on Social Security The following is the mission statement of the U.S. Census Bureau (USCB), “The Census Bureau serves as the leading source of quality data about the nation's people and economy. We honor privacy, protect confidentiality, share our expertise globally, and conduct our work openly. We are guided on this mission by our strong and capable workforce, our readiness to innovate, and our abiding commitment to our customers.” (U.S. Census Bureau [USCB], 2010) The USCB is a human services organization that was established in 1902, but officiated in 1903. It collects raw data on the U.S. population for multiple uses and abides by strict non-disclosure guidelines to gain and/or maintain the public’s trust. It converts the raw data into useful information that assist the federal government in deciphering...

The U.S. Census Bureau Field Data Collection Project: Don't Count on It

...The U.S. Census Bureau Field Data Collection Project: Don't Count on It IT/205 February 28, 2013 The U.S. Census Bureau Field Data Collection Project: Don't Count on It Answer the following questions in 200 to 300 words: • How important is the FDCA project for the U.S. Census Bureau? How does it impact decision making and operational activities? The collection of the census is very important and needs to be done correctly. According to Laudon (2011),”is use to determine allocation of congressional seats, allocation of federal assistance, and realignment of the boundaries of legislative districts within states.” (p. 413) • Classify and describe the problems the Census Bureau faced in implementing its new wireless data collection system. What people, organization, and technology factors caused these problems? The Census Bureau has very serious problems when implementing the new wireless data collection system. The people involved in this process, the census bureau and the Harris Corporation, did not properly communicate what specific information would be needed to get these systems working correctly. Not using certified program managers and highly qualified executives for these kinds of projects is a bad decision on the federal government’s behalf. Which is why the Harris Corporation, did not get an accurate description of the types of handheld devices to use or the technical requirements of the census. The Harris Corporation did not have much...

Census Bureau Field Data Collection Project: Don't Count on It

...The U.S. Census Bureau Field Data Collection Project: Don't Count On It Lisa Sims IT/205 Management of Information December 12,2013 Dr. John Pitron The U.S. Census Bureau Field Data Collection Project: Don't Count On It In an effort to reduce the rising cost of the ten-year census, the U.S. Census Bureau attempted to implement an automated data collection system. As a result from lack of leadership and management skills, the program ran over budget and part of the project had to be scrapped with significant monetary loss. In this exercise, the challenges the Census Bureau had to face, reasons for failure and key players responsible for the debacle will be identified. I will also describe the steps I would have taken to control the risk in this project. The census is mandated by the US constitution and requires a census of all people living in the United States. The information that is gathered from the census is used for government planning and determines how many seats each state gets in the US House of Representatives. The government is also dependent on the census numbers to indicate how much federal funding each state should receive (Calleam Consulting Ltd., 2012). The first problem the Census Bureau faced was the rising cost of conducting the census. Because of the drastic cost increase, Congress asked the Bureau to look for ways to reduce cost and improve efficiency on the ten-year census. The second problem the Bureau faced had to do with the process of...

Now it’s time to listen for that sound again, because the loyalty tally leaped to 2.65 billion in 2012. Obviously, the loyalty industry is pumping up. And what fascinates us as much as half a billion of pure growth are the reasons behind this continued expansion. Back in 2000, COLLOQUY tallied 973 million memberships in our landmark program sizing study. By the time we published the 2009 COLLOQUY Loyalty Census, that figure had reached 1.8 billion memberships. In the 2011 Census, we noted that the rate of expansion was slowing when we saw only 16.3% growth between 2009 and the eye-popping 2 billion in 2011. But the slowdown was temporary. The current figure of 2.65 billion represents additional 26.7% growth. Where is this bulk...

Census and Statistic Department Internship

...1. Introduction to C&S Department, HKSAR 1.1 Department background The place where I took the internship is called the Census and Statistics Department, HKSAR.The Census and Statistics Department (C&SD) together with statistical units established in various government departments forms the Government Statistical Service (GSS), representing a network for the provision of government statistical services. The latter are generally called the "outposted statistical units". Broadly speaking, most general-purpose statistics come under the responsibility of C&SD. The statistical units in various government departments take care of specific-purpose statistics and provide necessary support in the application of statistics. Generally speaking, the whole work of C&SD can be classified into three categories: 1) Conducting statistical surveys and operating statistical systems for the production of social and economic statistics including data series on such areas as population, external trade, commerce and industry, labour, prices, national income and Balance of Payments; 2) Performing statistical analysis and disseminating statistical data and analytical results; and 3) Providing consultation and support services on statistical matters to various government departments. And the mission of C&SD is 1) to provide adequate, relevant, reliable and timely statistics to facilitate research, discussion, planning and decision making within the government and in the community; 2) to ensure that the...

Haste Makes Waste in Broadband Process

...WiMax.com article Haste Makes Waste in the Broadband Stimulus Process By Charles Bobo The Broadband Stimulus program is the equivalent of a 'land grab', comparable to the Oklahoma Land Rushes of 1889 and 1893, events that coined the term, Sooners. Companies big and small are scrambling to grab their piece of rural America broadband real estate. Consider there are seven times more funding requests than funds to disburse in round one. At first glance it appears many of the applicants either misunderstood the NOFA (Notice of Funds Availability) guidelines, or just chose to ignore them. The question looms, how is a small organization, without the necessary manpower or resources, able to submit an application without being rejected due to the slightest violation of a guideline? Before we address that question, let’s review a few of the program’s basic facts and challenges. An Excellent Program in Spirit The Broadband Stimulus Program is an excellent program in spirit. According to statistics, more than 10-million residents in rural communities through this country are without high-speed broadband; which, according to the NOFA, is a very modest 768k. That’s a speed most of us upgraded from 10-years ago. But to rural Americans, it equates to exchanging the mule for a tractor. It provides farmers with access to agriculture markets, students with access to school, and families with access to an incredible array of tools and opportunities to improve their quality of life. ...

...diversity of the industries that are in this study should give a nice idea of how competitive some industries can be. First a look into the fluid milk industry, the U.S. Census Bureau shows that there are 280 different companies in the manufacturing of fluid milk. The largest four companies make up 46 percent of the industry themselves. The industry sells $33,547,992,000.00 per year, which is a very large industry. This industry appears to be an oligopoly, because the four largest companies make up almost 50 percent with the largest eight being 58 percent of the industry (census). “An oligopoly is an industry dominated by a few firms that, by virtue of their individual sizes, are large enough to influence the market price.” (case 2009) The census information shows that the largest eight firms should be able to control the industry and the prices that everyone else should follow. Next a look into the envelope manufacturing industry, here the census bureau shows that the largest four firms make up 57.6 percent of the industry that only consist of 149 firms, selling a total of $3,653,185,000.00 per year (census). With the largest four firms making up over half of the total sales this industry would be considered an oligopoly industry. Next a look into the electric computers industry, here the census bureau shows that the largest four companies make up 86.9 percent of the total industry. This would diffidently be considered an oligopoly industry. With the four companies...

...Question 1 The Field Data Collection Automation(FDCA) project is very significant for the United States Census Bureau because it consists of the collection of the United States census. The main reason of this project is to collect all the data at a faster pace while decreasing the cost of collecting the information. The cost of the operation and the cost of the census was over budget at fourteen and a half billion dollars. The costs for this operation were eleven billion dollars for operational costs and three billion dollars for the new devices. Making the census collection data automated would allow the data retrieval to be less costly and more efficient. When the execution of the project failed this increased the cost of operation. This failure delayed implementation of this project for another decade. · Question 2 The main problem the United States Census Bureau encountered was its investigation, communication, and documentation of the handheld device's failure to perform. In 2007, poor handheld performance issues as reported to the bureau(Laudon & Laudon, 2010). Despite the reports that were given by the field agents, the United States Census Bureau did not have any procedures in place to record the data collected by the devices. There were no procedures in place to evaluate the handheld device performance. There were no methods to record, track, or evaluate the performance of the operation. The lack of method, performance, and accountability stems...
