Change Management System The purpose of developing a change management system is to eliminate any confusion for the project manager and their project team on what the procedures are for a change to the project. This is done in anticipation that during the project that there might be some changes that need to be done to the project to make it work. The team has a clear flowchart on what needs to be done to get the change approved to keep the progress on the project without slowing it down.
Recommendation of Change Management Personnel Board Riordan Manufacturing is a company that always has contracts and projects constantly created from customers all over the world. Part of being in a successful business is knowing that every customer is not going to be the same and there is going to be some changes to some of the work on these projects. The first person that should be on the board is Dr. Michael Riordan who is the President and CEO. The second individual is Charles Lacy who is the VP of Sales and Marketing. The third person to sit on this board is Bob Havinga who is the VP of Product Support. The fourth person to sit on this board is Craig Mulligan who is the manager of Product Development. The fifth and final person is Phil Johnson is the Manager of Research. Each individual was carefully selected because of the job positions that each one holds is vital to the success of the company and to each’s individual department. Every member has certain amount of input based on their position that is either for the change or against the change.

Change Management Board Every person that has been recommended to sit on the board was done so for the purpose of making the changes important and right for the company.
