Chemistry and Society
Accuracy and precision are two critical factors to contemplate when performing a measurements of data. Both accuracy and precision indicate how a measurement is close to a definite value. Accuracy reflects how close a measurement is to an identified assessment or accepted value while precision produces how measurements are recalled, even if they are distant from the accepted value. (Helmenstine, 2014) Precision also refers to how well experimental data and values agree with each other in multiple tests. Accuracy refers to the agreement between experimental data and a known value. (Helmenstine, 2014)
Chemistry and Society Accuracy and precision are important conceptions, and how they relate to an experimental measurement. By using scientific notation the concepts of precision and accuracy can be accomplished in a simpler matter. Precision and accuracy can be in hitting a bulls-eye of a target. If you hit the target accurately implies you are close to the center of the target even when the marks are on different sides of the center of the bulls-eye. If you hit the target precisely means all the hits you made are spaced closely, but still far from the center of the bulls-eye. (Helmenstine, 2014)
Our society is depending on the precision and accuracy when measuring products we purchase every day. Precision and accuracy goes hand in hand together to make proficient measurements. If a product is not measured correctly, it would not have the same effect if it were measured correctly. Gasoline that we put in our vehicles if not mixed properly would give us a vehicle that would not perform accurately.
There are steps of scientific method that consist of observation, the formulation of hypotheses, the testing of hypotheses by experiment, and the formulation of laws and theories. (Tro, 2009) Once the observation concludes, the hypothesis is prepared giving the results of the observation and recording their data. The third step will be evaluating the figures in a structure that can be reproduced by other scientists. (Tro, 2009)
The scientific method utilizes inductive reasoning and deductive reasoning to attempt to produce positive and consistent forms of nature and natural occurrence. Inductive reasoning is the assessment of precise illustrations to exploit a common hypothesis or model, where deductive reasoning is the applying of a theory to clarify particular results. (Zamora, 2015)
Applying the scientific method in our daily lives can consist of our eating habits and how we prepare our meals, and administer medicine to family members. We use the sun’s energy to grow food, planting trees to allow shade in the hot months of summer, solar energy is used to full benefit by heating our homes. The treatment of diseases and chemical substance abuse by the medical professionals is a significant part of our daily lives.
Applying the scientific method to our future career we desire is helpful in all areas of exploring new angles and pathways, examining problem areas and coming up with a hypothesis. Research and predict the future of the sales market, use scientific devices and methods to make progress in substance data.
We utilize the media world by some type of devices such as computers, cell phones, televisions. Meteorologists help us to view how the weather will be for our days while air travel gets us to where we want or need to be. In today’s societies, our daily life without science would be unimaginable and inconceivable. Technology has increased to provide the information highway offering a variety of information at our fingertips.

Conclusion
We count on the scientific method to produce accurate documents, planning our retirement, acquiring knowledge and innovation of our career paths. There is a variety of interesting career paths that combine the use of science and scientific methods without ever being aware that we are using it. Dedication, motivation, knowledge, and sets of skills of many individuals make a remarkable distinction in any organization.

Chemist use measurement everyday when they are working to find new stuff but even the everyday person uses these same measurements to do everyday work. Three types of measurement that a person might use are length, weight, and volume. In today society a carpenter might use all three from cutting the material, weighing out load limits, and the volume of a pool that they are installing....
