I have heard about child labor before, but I didn’t know it was this bad. It says how they weren’t really forcing the children to do it it was the parents, but the parents are supposed to provide for the kids. The parents are supposed to take care of and make money to support the kids, not the other way around. Me on the other hand, would be okay with working for my family IF my parents were disabled and not able to work (but I am 13 years old, not 8). But not if they were just too lazy to do it themselves.
I can’t imagine what the owners were thinking how desperate they were because places that they were putting children in for many hours were not good. They screamed at them, made them work for 12-16 hours,
