In Oklahoma, our state’s basic law enforcement certification is called CLEET certification. CLEET stands for Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training. For an individual to be eligible for the CLEET certification process, the enrollee must at least possess valid driver’s license, show emotional stability, possess a high school diploma or equivalent of, be a United States Citizen and resident of the state of Oklahoma, be 21 years of age, be able to pass the minimum physical examination requirements, pass a background investigation, and pass the aptitude test.
