The mission statement for Club It is “We, Ruben and Lisa, offer you live music, DJ’s, dance space, and refreshments that suit your lifestyle. You are our friends, and we seek to build a community that meets regularly at Club IT.” (R. Kelly Rainer & Turban, 2009) What Rueben and Lisa have done is take a 6000 square foot location, remodeled it to accommodate a 600 square foot dance floor, seating for 220 people, four wells and bar, a kitchen that serves appetizers and short orders. They have different music genres every week providing a variety of musical acts to fit a variety of consumers. They have a limited information system that provides just the basics for tracking, employees and information access and security. My goal is to provide the needed information that will guide Rueben and Lisa to make the necessary additions and changes to their technical and information systems that will ultimately prove to be profitable for them in the long run.
