Club IT, Part Two

In the past months after the grand opening of Club IT improvement in systems continue to keep the business running and add a competitive advantage and update the intranet. However, recent studies conducted allow Lisa and Ruben; the company’s owners a different kind of problem or topic that requires immediate attention: company’s consumer relations, resources, and the supply system.
Ruben Keys and Lisa Tejada took the first suggestions and their business is booming. While the company is still using the intranet system now, each employee can access his/her own information using a personal password. The company’s information such as stock, supply, or sales is accessible on to Ruben and Lisa. With the implementation of the new intranet system Ruben and Lisa can do employee evaluation tracking time management and efficiency of each employee. The new customer feedback section helps them to know their customers likes and dislikes, food and drink selections, and music choices. With this information, Club IT can become more competitive and stay a step above its competition. In addition to these changes, a new study shows that there are three areas that still need improvement to continue to rise to a full success story. The first suggestion is interdepartmental cooperation. Presently the intranet technology that Club IT utilizes only shows the owners the present issues in the company. However, the departments work independently; Ruben and Lisa do not see the needs only the results. An example would be the security cameras are not a tool used by the security department. The result is thefts suffered by the company from bad employees and customers. The solution is Club IT should implement an Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) that integrates all departments in the company and allows information to flow through all functional areas (Rainer, Jr.

With the completion of the renovation to their club, Ruben and Lisa have determined that the clubs information management is lagging behind. The clubs current resources consist of a website with an intranet portal for its employees. The clubs inventory is also kept in spreadsheets which allows for many mistakes. In order to uphold their mission statement and compete with other night clubs, Ruben and Lisa must update their existing business system. The clientele of Club IT is the basis of the business. Making the customers happy and ensuring their return is extremely important to the survival of the business. Implementing a customer relationship management system (CRM) into the business would allow the ability to evaluate the clientele base and manage the relationship between the customer and Club IT. Project Assignment, Club It

...PROJECT ASSIGNMENT – PART TWO CLUB IT by Markie Labovitz BIS219 April 19, 2010 Gordon Hodgson Abstract Learning about the technologies that can influence growth, and empower business owners to gain a more prosperous company is extremely satisfying. Technology is improving every day. Those who take advantage of it will take the lead. Those who will not will fall behind. When the improvements are made, Club IT will grow and be even more successful in the coming months and years. Club IT, Part Two Evaluating Club IT’s Resources, Customers, and Supply Chain Upon reviewing the records, both Rueben and Lisa have determined that the club’s information technology needed improvement. They had a simple website advertising Club IT gear such as caps, tee-shirts, and mugs. Even though they had their merchandise on their website, there was no way for their customers to order online. Customers had to reserve tickets for the weekend concerts by phone or at the door. They had acquired quite a few week-end customers and repeaters, and it was time to expand to the next level of technology. It is obvious that the expansion of certain information technology would improve...
