“ Why College Education Is Important To Me”

According to Scott Reed, “As long as you know what it is you desire, then by simply affirming that it is yours -- firmly and positively, with no ifs, buts, or maybes -- over and over again, from the minute you arise in the morning until the time you go to sleep at night, and as many times during the day as your work or activities permit, you will be drawn to those people, places, and events that will bring your desires to you”. College is an event in life, and I strongly believe that getting an academic education is an important step for growing as an individual. It builds confidence and strength while helping me achieve what I want most out of my life. A college education is going to expand my horizons, professionally and personally.

First, growing up I was always self-disciplined and a self-reliant learner having the highest expectations of myself. I got my diploma online through an accredited school. I then started working and thought that making money would get me where I wanted to be at the time. Once I realized 5 years had passed me by and nothing had changed, I then decided to enroll in college and get my life on track.

Second, ”Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world” as quoted by Nelson Mandela. That is a quote to change your life, and you are only as powerful as you strive to be. I chose to go to Ashworth College because of the amazing reviews for the accounting program. I found similar courses online and at universitys close to me, but they were not appealing to me. The degree program I found at Ashworth was perfect, and the affordable tuition was the pivotal choice for my final decision.

Third, this degree will be upgrading me to a better job position and a better life. I have experience in my field of work but not enough to advance and really thrive. This AA in
