I remember when I went for my advising, the adviser told me I had to do my pre requisite pass my TEASE test before I can enter the nursing program. I asked her the reason why I had to take courses that do not pertain to the course am majoring in. I was confused about what she was trying to tell me. The adviser then explained the reason why I had to do all this course. Some of the reason she said was for student to be able to express them self-better, for them to be creative and lastly to be a divergent and critical thinker. I later went to a seminar that explained the reason why student should take course that is not my major. I strongly agree that college should require every students to take classes that is not that is not the major and also should be graded pass/fail.
