Brazil faces many racial issues in their country, as a whole, they suffer from either the government or the people in the country, as they suffer from color blindness which is a major problem in their society. The racial inequality in Brazil is now being addressed by the people themselves and by the government. The way the government tries to overcome their racial inequality is passing anti-discrimination laws that are present in their constitution. One of the anti-discrimination laws that tie to inhibit racism is the labor law. The labor law prohibits the adoption of discriminatory practices and for limiting access to the employment relationship based on sex, origin, race, color marital status, family status or age. This law strictly prohibits discrimination in relation to salaries, the exercise of any function and/or hiring, termination based on race or gender (site).
