These occupations can involve leading people and making many decisions. Sometimes they require risk taking and often deal with business. The website defines realistic as occupations frequently involving work activities that include practical, hands-on problems and solutions. They often deal with plants, animals and real-world materials like wood, tools and machinery. Many of the occupations require working outside and do not involve a lot of paperwork or working closely with others. Lastly the website defines social as occupations frequently involve working with, communicating with and teaching people. These occupations often involve helping or providing service to others. As determined by the website I would work well in sales, food and service working. This exercise may have proven accurate for some but highly off based for myself. I have no interest in working in a food industry or in a social setting. I believe the questions and results weren’t accurate to say the least. I will not be using this career planner.
