Technology is ever growing and Smith Systems must grow with it. There are many new ways to reach clientele and stay in touch with existing personnel. Our proposal will include options for immediate and consistent advertising, face to face meetings, and the ability to reach anyone no matter where they are in the world. To do this we will explain how the use of social media, video and satellite conferencing, and Internet meetings will place Smith Systems at the top of their class in communications.

Social media can contribute to success and growth in all areas of Kudler Fine Foods by providing networks and new channels for your brand's voice and content. Social media offers the opportunity to increase your visibility and grow brand awareness. Utilizing social media allows your customers to connect and interact with your business on a more intimate level. Interacting with your customers regularly is a show of accountability and good-faith for other customers. The Kudler Fine Foods brand will be mentioned on social media, i.e. Facebook, Yelp, where people can go to compliment a product or service received by the company. The more talk that is created by the people on social media, the more valuable and authentic your brand will seem to new customers.
Almost all social media sites are free to use. This means that your company will be in direct contact with potential customers without having to pay a dime. Initially, you may need to send an email to current customers, asking them to follow, join, like, or friend you to get the process up and going. The cost associated with traditional marketing strategies are a lot higher than social media advertisement methods (10 Benefits of Social Media for Business, 2015). Research Proposal. Communication Assistance

...Jennifer Hall, Housekeeper Date: December 27, 2011 Subject: Communication Assistance Attached you will find my proposal to implement communication assistance in the housekeeping department. I feel that with this little extra effort on my part, we are able to accomplish this assistance. The housekeeping department currently has many non-English speaking employees. With the communication assistance I have planned out it will not only benefit our department but also the Marriott. With all the hard work it could be a company wide acceptance for a new policy. There is a possibility that when this is complete the other employees could step in and help with defining the process. Doing this as a whole department will make all the employee’s feel like they are a big part of this accomplishment. This will also boost the ego of the department which will enhance customer service. As I have understood you have tried this before but it was not effective. With the hard work that I have put into this we will make it successful for everybody. So with the existing information and new information we have a much better chance of success. Exchanges with Industry Before Receipt of Proposals (4-4)

...Exchanges With Industry Before Receipt of Proposals (4-4) Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) “prescribes [the] policies and procedures governing competitive and noncompetitive negotiated acquisitions.” One component of negotiated acquisitions that occurs early in the acquisition process is the solicitation of proposals. FAR 15.201, titled, “Exchanges with Industry before Receipt of Proposals,” regulates the type and manner of communications, also sometimes referred to as exchanges, which can – and cannot – take place between the Government and potential suppliers prior to the receipt of a potential supplier’s proposal and the subsequent award of a contract. This paper will address a few of the various types and formats of exchanges that might occur between the Government and potential suppliers prior to the Government’s receipt of proposals, and the manner in which some of these exchanges are to occur; some of the legal, regulatory, and logistical considerations that a Program Manager, Contracting Officer, or other Government participant in the acquisition process might need to be mindful of when conducting discussions; and the diligence and care that must be utilized by the Government team members when conducting exchanges with potential suppliers before the receipt of proposals in order to avoid issues that may arise later in the procurement process. Disclosure of Certain Contingency Losses

...“Disclosure of Certain Contingency Losses” Exposure Draft Critique Contingencies refer to existing conditions, situations, or sets of circumstances involving uncertainty as to possible gains or losses to an entity that will ultimately be resolved when one or more future events occur or fail to occur (ASC Glossary). The Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) issued an exposure draft in July 2010 relating to additional disclosures relating to certain loss contingencies. FASB argues the necessity of this proposal arises from concerns of investors and other financial statement users relating to disclosures about loss contingencies under the existing guidance. Proponents argue that existing guidance does not provide adequate information to assist users in assessing the likelihood, timing, and magnitude of future cash outflows associated with loss contingencies (Exposure Draft, 1). Although the exposure draft intends to improve financial statement transparency, the balance between “issuing an improved standard must be maintained against possible prejudicial impacts that could adversely affect a company and its investors” ( The first issue of the exposure draft relates to amounts that must be disclosed based on expert testimony. The exposure draft proposes the requirement of disclosing estimated amounts of reasonably possible and remote losses based on the testimony of an expert witness (Chadbourne and Park LLP). This disclosure is flawed and may be......

The article suggests understanding all sides provides the best results for a decision. The proposal submitted to BGP’s CEO provides communications from all sides and a solution for all sides. Regis’ employer, Excel Systems, merged with another company Gemini, a former competitor. The merger was followed by several changes to Excel's and Gemini’s old business approach. Administrative Regulation

...After the events of 9/11, I developed a strong interest in security and protection from terrorism. Once President Bush announced the establishment of the Department of Homeland Security, I became even more intrigued, with thousands of questions flooding my mind. Will this department guarantee 100% protection? How will the lines of communication between government officials/law enforcement personnel strengthen or weaken? What type of strategies will the department be capable of implementing? More important, will there be a sacrifice of rights/freedoms with this new development? This last question is what peaked my interest in my choice of regulation: U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s proposal of a new intelligence system of records (Analytical Framework for Intelligence or AFI) and it’s notice of exemption from the 1974 Privacy Act. From reading the details of the proposal/notice, there will not be a direct impact to myself, but to the country as a whole. The new system will allow U.S. Customs and Border Protection to monitor and guard the country’s borders in a more effective manner. It will also strengthen the means of communication between the Department of Homeland Security and other officials. Just knowing that there...
