...Communication is the Key RaKeshia Rhodes MGT/521 July 4th 2011 Robert Price Communication is the Key Meaningful communication is very important in the business world. No matter the size of the company, this can be difficult if the message isn’t relayed effectively. Scenario I As the marketing manager, the best method to inform teammates of the new strategy would be written communication. The form of written communication that should be use to relay the message to teammates should be an email. An email will allow the marketing manager to get the message out immediately to the teammates. How quickly the message is relayed is very important because the team only has one week to come up with the strategy. If the team members have any type of questions, ideas, or concerns, after reading the email, the can then reply to the message. When conveying the strategy to the vice president, I would use oral communication. Once this information is presented, the vice president can then ask any questions he or she may have, as well as give his feedback on the strategy. ...William Gaines Comm 200 Interpersonal Communication Professor Mary Anne Witt 4/22/2012 To relate to this article is a hard thing to do because the article is based on the marriage relationship, but if I was to change the marriage part I could very much relate to this article. The disclosure on just a relationship works the same the way, because without proper communication a relationship can turn sour really quick. Without knowing what the other person in the relationship is thinking then one could assume that the relationship is either a bust or things are going well. Based on a relationship stand point I have dated and some relationship I just did not find that I was happy or there were things about the individual that I did not like and I am pretty sure that they felt the same way about me bout we did not communicate this to each other therefore we just separated. After reading the article seeing that a lot of the past relationships that I was in ended really bad this could have been avoided by just talking to the individual and finding out what each other disclosures were. I do feel that the disclosure in a relationship is important after reading the article because it’s the back bone of the communication part of the relationship. Leaving out the disclosure is like leaving out a main ingredient in a recipe it will not allow the relationship to move further north or move to be positive because of the lack of the true communication from both parts of the......

Communication

...Introduction Communication is the lifeblood of the organization. It is the Two-way process of reaching mutual understanding, in which participants not only exchange (encode decode) information, news, ideas and feelings but also create and share meaning. In business, it is a key function of management , an organization cannot operate without communication between levels, departments and employees. If we communicate well with the people in our lives, we are able to better understand what the people around us want, need, expect of us, and what they are able to do and likewise, they will understand what we want, need. When people feel they have been understood, they feel like you value them, and that is a nice feeling. I believe good communication is the key to a good leadership. Example of a small born baby Can a mother of a month old baby understand the exact reason when the baby is crying ? No, It's just because at this age a baby has no ability to express or communicate with mother. As usual, data show us how hefty the cost of poor communication can be: 1. $37 billion: total estimated cost of employee misunderstanding (including actions or errors of omission by employees who have misunderstood or were misinformed about company policies, business processes, job function or a combination of the three) in 100,000-employee companies, among 400 surveyed corporations in the U.S. and U.K. (average cost per company is $62.4 million per year)  2. $26,041:......
