Cng Gas

...natural gas(CNG) (CNG) is a fossil fuel substitute for gasoline (petrol), Diesel fuel, and propane/LPG. Although CNG's combustion does produce greenhouse gases, it is widely considered a more environmentally "clean" alternative to conventional fuels; plus, it is much safer than other fuels in the event of a spill (natural gas is lighter than air, and disperses quickly when released). CNG may also be mixed with biogas (produced from landfills orwastewater), resulting in a fuel that does not increase the concentration of carbon in the atmosphere. CNG is made by compressing natural gas (which is mainly composed of methane, CH4), to less than 1% of the volume it occupies at standard atmospheric pressure. It is stored and distributed in hard containers at a pressure of 200–248 bar (2,900–3,600 psi), usually incylindrical or spherical shapes. CNG is used in traditional gasoline/internal combustion engine automobiles that have been converted into bi-fuel vehicles (gasoline/CNG). Natural gas vehicles are increasingly used inIran, the Asia-Pacific region (especially Pakistan[1] and the Indian capital of Delhi, and other large cities like Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, etc. ), Latin America, Europe, andNorth America due to rising gasoline prices.[2] In response to high fuel prices and environmental concerns, CNG is starting to be used also in tuk-tuks and pickup trucks, transit and school buses, and trains. The cost of conversion is a barrier to wider/quicker adoption of CNG......

Comparison and Contrast Between Ultrabooks and Tablets

...Comparison and Contrast between Ultrabooks and Tablets Thesis Statement Ultrabook PCs are superior to Tablet PCs based on comparison of market positioning, design concept, growth rate in sales and research and development of manufacturer. Introduction In modern time, computers have become an essential tool to assist people in dealing with their complicate lives and satisfying their fast footstep. To conveniently carry computers and efficiently use them in daily work, increasingly people pursue portability, utility and fashion. So Tablets and Ultrabooks are“born” at the right moment. In order to promote laptops, many manufacturers always campaign on the slogan "it is an Ultrabook" on the margins of Ultrabooks. So in 2011, Intel corporation conceived an Ultrabook and defined as “an Ultrabook ” is a mini notebook computer designed to provide similar or superior computing functionality as that of a standard laptop but with less size, weight and an extended battery life”. Now, the term has extended to refer to a new category of notebook computers that sits somewhere between lightweight laptops and Tablets. However, Tablets and Ultrabooks are obviously different. A Tablet computer, or simply Tablet, is a mobile computer with display, circuitry and battery in a single unit. We know that Tablets are often equipped with sensors, including cameras, microphones and touchscreens, and with finger or stylus gestures replacing computer mouse and keyboard. In this thesis, I will......

...display, and the ASUS netbook with a 10.1” LED display. However there are more differences between the two. The iPads retina display is packed with millions of pixels that give it a huge resolution of 2048x1536, which has a better resolution the 50” HDTV at 1080p. However compared to the ASUS’s 10.1” LED screen which has a resolution of 1024x600 isn’t bad by all means. It still has the ability to produce clear images and text on the screen and is ideal for PC users. This is because users won’t be using the device for long as it is only for users who tend to travel and work on the go, therefore leaving the majority of their work for main PCs. Graphics Both of the devices have graphic units integrated within their processors, compared to having separate graphics cards which are more powerful. The reason most manufactures choose integrated graphics is because it is cheaper, more power efficient and saves space and is the same with other mobile devices. Overall the graphics units within the iPad are better than the one located in the netbook as the iPads has a quad-core graphics attached to the A5X processor. This is for the new retina display. Storage Both of the devices use different storage units, the iPad using the new SSD (Solid State Drive) technology and the ASUS netbook using the traditional HDD (Hard Disc Drive). Here is a list of the advantages and disadvantages between them. SSD (Solid State Drive) HDD (Hard Disc Drive) Advantages ...

Comparison Between the Crucifixes’ of Cimabue and Giotto

... Comparison between the Crucifixes’ of Cimabue and Giotto HU 200: Humanities Chris Wright May 4, 2014 Brookline College Comparison between the Crucifixes’ of Cimabue and Giotto I come from a Roman Catholic household in which we had a crucifix in every room. I asked my mother why one day and she told me that having a wall crucifix in every room where your family gathers, as well as in every bedroom just above the doorway, was a great visual reminder of God's love for us. Even as a child I remember looking at the crucifix and always was filled with lots of emotions; from anger to sadness. I believe that was the same emotions the artists who created the famous crucifix at Basilica Santa Croce, in Florence and the crucifix at Santa Maria Novella, in Florence wanted people to feel. The crucifix at Basilica Santa Croce was made by Cimabue, AKA Bencivieni Di Pepo, who was a Florentine painter in the Byzantine Style. His devotion to the Byzantine style of his figures of the Christus patiens (suffering Christ) is bordered by the Virgin and St. John the Evangelist. “The faces are very expressive and Christ sways dramatically. His outwardly stretched arms create more tension than the sagging arms of most Byzantine crucifixes. His blood flows downward from his hands, pooling the gold border of the cross.” (Hartt, 1949, pp. 49-51) Cimabue is known for being well adept in both his technical knowledge and his move towards more humanistic interpretations of religious......

Comparison Between Paragraph and Essay

...The relationship between a paragraph and an essay is symbiotic; you can't write an essay without using paragraphs, and four or more consecutive paragraphs about the same subject matter become an essay. Both paragraphs and essays have a distinct beginning, middle and end. They're also both composed of five sections: A paragraph typically has five sentences, and an essay, five paragraphs. Topic Sentence * Both paragraphs and essays begin with a topic sentence, or a thesis statement, that explains to the reader what the paragraph, or essay, is about. A thesis statement for an essay is longer and more detailed than the topic sentence at the beginning of a paragraph. For example, a thesis statement for an essay might be: "The gravity of marriage becomes more apparent over time; newlyweds imagine a glamorous life ahead and cannot yet imagine the test their love will endure, while couples married for a decade or more are beginning to understand the depth of their promise." A topic sentence for a paragraph might simply be: "A lasting marriage requires many levels of compromise." Supporting Details * Paragraphs and essays both require supporting details that elaborate on the statements made in the topic sentence or thesis statement. In a paragraph, each subsequent sentence builds upon the point made in the topic sentence and the sentences following the topic sentence are called "supporting details". In an essay, the first sentence in each paragraph discusses points made in the......

Comparison Between the Analects and Confessions

Both doctrines discuss ethical values of the society back in the time as we can find some similarities between the two. However, there are significant differences between Confucius and St. Augustine’s experiences and believes since they are living in different environment at time period. Their profound differences are the factors that contributed to shape the distinct cultures between the West and the East today. Confucius taught us to love others from the within the family to everyone else in the society. A man’s character was fostered from his role as a son in the family (Analects I, 2). He should be obedient to his parent, and to be respectful to his father’s way when he is living and even after death (I, 11). One of the differences between St. Augustine’s Confessions and Confucius’s Analects is the treatment of one within the family. A good son, according to Confucius, should always obey his parents, not complain, and stay reverent in any situations (IV, 18). His “never fail to comply” teachings was opposite to St. Augustine’s belief. In Confessions, St. Augustine admitted his parents expected in him a lot, and sacrificed for his future. Although his father was praised for providing St. Augustine financial support for his education even more than richer......

The capital of Belgium is Brussels, known for “Manneke pis” and the Atomium, but also known as the capital of the European Union. Belgium was one of the founders of the European Union in 1958 and hosts the EU’s headquarters as well as those of several other major international organizations such as the NATO. Our country has 3 official languages: Dutch, French and German, China has only one; Chinese. About 60% of the population speaks Dutch, especially in the Flanders. Approximately 40% speaks French, especially in Wallonia. And less than 1% speaks German, especially in Eastern Wallonia. Although almost everybody is bilingual (Dutch and French). From the end of the Middle Ages until the 17th century, the area of Belgium was a prosperous and cosmopolitan centre of commerce and culture. Comparison Between Short Stories

...The two short stories: When Mr. Pirzada Came to Dine and Nobody Said Anything have different narrative elements that cause the message of each of the stories to be revealed differently. The main similarity between the two is that both stories are told in first person – in the point of view of the person that “loses their innocence”. However, the time and order in which the stories are told are unalike, causing audiences to read and understand them differently. When Mr. Pirzada Came to Dine is told in retrospect, as the narrator reveal’s her story of the past. She tells her story when she is older, after she loses her innocence, giving her an advantage to insert different events and instances in relation to her story that enables her to let the reader’s understand it easily. The narrator uses this advantage; describing multiple mini-stories of the different moments she had that linked to her main point, showing the process of the gradual realization. Contrasting, Nobody Said Anything is told just as the main character comes to his realization. This story is told in the span of one day, as the narrator describes many insignificant and trivial details that do not aid in telling his story (such as packing a sandwich). He does not have the advantage that the previous narrator had, as he was just describing his day, not knowing that he would come to a realization by the end. It limited him by not already knowing that he would come to realize something, meaning he did not have......
