¨Empire of the Sun¨ is a film directed by Steven Spielberg about a boy named Jamie living in a concentration camp during World War 2. Overall the film was sad, but that was the point to a certain extent. The film taught me a lot. The symbolism was great. I loved Jamie at times when he was not doing something crazy. I think Jamie was very strong and that whoever played him is an amazing actor. I feel like I love Steven Spielberg, because he puts in a lot of work when he is directing a movie or film. Everything he puts in his films has meaning to it.
