Comprehensive detection train is a train equipped with special testing equipments. The train can detect the technical indicators and related information which affect the running safety in aspects of railway track, traction power supply, communication, signal and surrounding environment. It’s a EMU with positioning synchronization, high-capacity data transmission and analytical processing functions. The basic duty of the comprehensive detection train is tour moving fault detection on tracks. Combination positioning methods of train is an important way to improve the reliability of train positioning and accuracy of the point of failure. The multi-sensor information synchronization is an important reason affecting the positioning accuracy. In order to ensure its correction and effectiveness of combination-location information fusion algorithm,as well as to compare and evaluate different fusion algorithms, research on the pretreatment method of the multi-sensor information is necessary.

This paper takes the example of resonant voltage measurement with high reliability as the test program of compensation capacitor. To improve the extent of the precise location in point of failure as well as to improve the continuity and real-time of data feedback, finally this paper selects the GPS / DR / MM combination- orientation program to provide positioning information for the dynamic detection system, by comparing a variety of positioning systems. In order to get the most accurate output data, the paper use the adaptive federated Kalman filter algorithm to do the multi-sensor data fusion. Then the paper exchanges the positioning subsystem data and test subsystem data through Ethernet. Using the method of setting the discriminated threshold to discriminate and count the test results, and finally got the completion of the fault locating function. After that, by using electronic map matching, provide and display the accurate positioning of the real-time fault.

This issue use the ARM9/Linux embedded development platform as the core. It describes the design of system’s hardware and software systematically. By using the rich on-chip resources, the paper finishes the data collection of GPS module, network control module etc. and finishes the hardware design of compensation capacitor test module, memory modules etc. At the same time, the paper finishes the software design of GPS data extraction module, joint Kalman filter module, map matching module and compensation capacitor discrimination and statistics module.

The paper starts from the engineering point of view, through theoretical analysis on dynamic detection of the track circuit compensation capacitor, does the Matlab simulation for the results of the analysis. Theoretical analysis and Matlab simulation results show that combination- orientation program and the filter in paper can both effectively improve the accuracy of comprehensive testing trains in the detection process as well as to improve the rail safety and stability effectively. The results can be applied to engineering use.

Mcbride Financial Website Security Plan

...clients though the website and through kiosks located in the offices. McBride wants to reduce the number of employees needed to handle client accounts using this new business plan. The new plan will increase the need for data protection to ensure that customer’s personal data is kept same during all points of the application and loan process. Implementing online loan applications means customer information will be input into web forms and then transferred to the company database. This creates the potential for hackers to steal or corrupt the data and to use it to gain access to other company servers. In order to prevent this from occurring and limiting the damage done in the case of a successful attack McBride must implement a Prevention, Detection, and Recovery plan. Prevention A prevention plan for McBride will be need to include protection for the company servers and protection for client information. The first step in this plan is to establish a demilitarized zone (DMZ) to separate the web server from the company databases and other company servers. The most secure way to implement this is to use two firewalls. The first one will be set to allow necessary traffic to the web server and to block malicious code. It will have a looser configuration to ensure that clients do not have issues gaining access to needed applications or services. The second firewall will be set to stricter configurations to prevent any malicious code that gets past the first firewall from entering the...

Autism

...Autism Autism The term “autism” comes from the Greek word “autos” meaning “self” and describes a person who is removed from social interaction (WebMD, 2010).The term autism was first used around 1911 by a Swiss physiatrist named Eugen Bleuler referring to symptoms of schizophrenia. The term autism was not used in the United States until the 1940s. Leo Kanner identified the key feature of “autistic aloneness” among his patients, describing their apparent reluctance to engage in social interaction with other people (Autism, Psychology of, 2005). Autism was thought to be the result of unloving mothers. Not until the 1960s and 1970s, a separate understanding of autism emerged. Dr. Bernard Rimland, father of an autistic son and founder of the Autism Research Institute, helped the medical community understand autism as a biological disorder (Autism Speaks, 2010). Early treatment during the 1960s and 1970s has included medications such as Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD), electric shock, and behavior change techniques (pain and punishment). Behavior therapy and highly controlled learning environments became the primary treatments during the 1980s and 1990s. During the 1990s a concern arose that the measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) vaccine contributed to the development of Autism, but a study published in 1998 that theorized there could be a link has been retracted because there is little evidence to support that theory (Mayo Clinic, 2010). Other common myths include autistic...

Review of Outlier Detection Methods

...Review of Outlier Detection Methods INTRODUCTION Outliers or anomalies can exist in all types of collected data. The presence of outliers may indicate something sinister such as unauthorised system access or fraudulent activity, or may be a new and previously unidentified occurrence. Whatever the cause of these outliers, it is important they are detected so appropriate action can be taken to minimise their harm if malignant or to exploit a newly discovered opportunity. Chandola, Banerjee and Kumar (2007) conducted a comprehensive survey of outlier detection techniques, which highlighted the importance of detection across a wide variety of domains. Their survey described the categories of outlier detection, applications of detection and detection techniques. Chandola et al. identified three main categories of outlier detection - supervised, semi-supervised and unsupervised detection. Each category utilises different detection techniques such as classification, clustering, nearest neighbour and statistical. Each category and technique has several strengths and weaknesses compared with other outlier detection methods. This review provides initial information on data labelling and classification before examining some of the existing outlier detection techniques within each of the three categories. It then looks at the use of combining detection techniques before comparing and discussing the advantages and disadvantages of each method. Finally, a new classification technique...

Deep Residual Learning for Image Recognition

...Recognition Kaiming He Xiangyu Zhang Shaoqing Ren Microsoft Research Jian Sun Deeper neural networks are more difficult to train. We present a residual learning framework to ease the training of networks that are substantially deeper than those used previously. We explicitly reformulate the layers as learning residual functions with reference to the layer inputs, instead of learning unreferenced functions. We provide comprehensive empirical evidence showing that these residual networks are easier to optimize, and can gain accuracy from considerably increased depth. On the ImageNet dataset we evaluate residual nets with a depth of up to 152 layers—8× deeper than VGG nets [41] but still having lower complexity. An ensemble of these residual nets achieves 3.57% error on the ImageNet test set. This result won the 1st place on the ILSVRC 2015 classification task. We also present analysis on CIFAR-10 with 100 and 1000 layers. The depth of representations is of central importance for many visual recognition tasks. Solely due to our extremely deep representations, we obtain a 28% relative improvement on the COCO object detection dataset. Deep residual nets are foundations of our submissions to ILSVRC & COCO 2015 competitions1 , where we also won the 1st places on the tasks of ImageNet detection, ImageNet localization, COCO detection, and COCO segmentation. 20 10 56-layer test error (%) 20 Abstract training error (%) arXiv:1512.03385v1 [cs...
