Conrad Jarrett is the films hero and is the child of Calvin and Beth Jarrett. Around year and a half before the motion picture starts, he was included in a sailing mischance with his sibling, Buck, a mishap which left Buck dead. After a year, Conrad attempted to submit suicide however fizzled, driving him to invest time in hospital. Toward the start of the motion picture, he has been out of the hospital for a month. He is attempting to recover his life on track, however he feels little reason in life and no inspiration.
