Conspiracy Theories of September 11th There is a lot of speculation on who was actually behind what happened on September 11, 2001. On this date one of America's greatest tragedies occurred. In this tragedy, around three thousand people were killed, with a total of six thousand injured. On this day four planes were hijacked; two of them hit the Twin towers in New York city, one hit the Pentagon in Arlington Virginia just outside Washington D.C., and a fourth one crashed in Pennsylvania, the intended destination of that plane is unknown. What happened on this day completely changed the world forever.
(September11.archive.org.)
The people who have been said to be responsible was a terrorist group called Al-Qaeda. The United States citizens have been told to believe that there were 19 hijackers from Al-Qaeda who hijacked four United States commercial jets, and purposefully crashed them into The Twin Towers, and The Pentagon. After the attack happened, the United States responded with launching “The War on Terror” and invaded Afghanistan to eliminate the Al-Qaeda. The leader in charge of the attack was Osama Bin Ladin. This war is still going on to this day, and we still have not found Osama Bin Ladin. ("Formal Analysis, September 11 2001.")
The world, specifically the United states, believe that this planned attack was unknown to the United States government.. Many conspirators believe that the government knew about the plans to attack The Twin Towers and The Pentagon, and still allowed it to happen. The main proof that people point at to this theory is that there was what looked like to be insider trading. On the Thursday before September 11, 2001, over two thousand put options (an agreement between seller and buyer) were put on United Airlines (one of the two airlines whose plains were hijacked). The two thousand puts is over ninety times more puts purchased...

9/11 Conspiracy Theories

...9/11 Conspiracy Theories Hannah N. Powell Floyd Central High School 9/11 Conspiracy Theories On the morning of September 11, 2001, the terrorist attack in New York caused a shock to a vast majority of the United States. We have all seen the terrible footage of the twin towers collapsing and the crash of the plane at the Pentagon and in the field in Pennsylvania. It seems almost unthinkable for our own government to potentially control the awful events of 9/11. Around 8:00 am on September 11, 2001, Flight 175 from United Airlines departed Boston carrying two pilots, seven flight attendants, and eighty-one passengers. Within five minutes, the plane’s identification transponder was shut off; it was hijacked and turned for New York (McConnachie, p.396). Also, at around 8:00am, American Airlines Flight 11 left for Los Angeles. A few minutes after the plane departed, it was hijacked and directed towards New York. Around 8:05 am, Flights 93 and 77 from American Airlines changed its course and headed toward New York. At 8:46am Flight 11 slams into the North Tower at the World Trade Center striking the north side, only fourteen stories from the top. 9:03am South Tower at the World Trade Center was plunged by Flight 175. 9:45am Flight 77 collides into the Pentagon. Flight 93 crashed in a field after passengers rush the hijackers. Around 10:10am the Pentagon, the North, and South towers collapsed (McConnachie, p.396). Evacuations had already begun in the South Tower when the...

911 Debunked

...Professor Dana English 1101 March 30, 2016 9/11 Conspiracy Debunked Most people in a disturbed and extremely instable state of mind often will want to believe things that may or may not have actually happened in real time. The year was 2009, a moment that shook Americans grounds so drastically and changed so many peoples lives was September 11, at 8:45 am in New York City. In the blink of an eye, one of Americas most loved cities was attacked and reawakened to the real world. Conspiracy theorists have tried to debunk the theories and misconceptions about the horrific morning of 9/11. Fortunately, after 7 years of analysis and research we figured out that the conspiracy is true, science has undoubtedly debunked this mystery and everything finally makes sense. On September 11, at 8:45 am on a clear Tuesday morning, an American airliner Boeing 767 loaded with 20,000 gallons of jet fuel crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center in New York City near the 80th floor. According to the National Institute of Standards and Technology the North tower was completely obliterated by a single commercial Boeing airliner jet. While studies show that the height of the impacts on the North tower to cause it to collapse is a complete fallacy. The truth is that the top 20 floors could not have possibly disemboweled the remaining sturdy 90 floors. Even though the Boeing was transporting 20,000 gallons of fuel, which certainly caused plenty of damage and fire to the initial......

September 11th Conspiracy Theories

...SEPTEMBER 11TH CONSPIRACY THEORIES On September 11th, 2001, four American Airlines flights were hijacked. All of the planes were full of passengers. One aircraft crashed in a field in Pennsylvania, one hit the Pentagon, and the other two hit the World Trade Center in New York City. Most Americans remember where they were when they this malicious series of events happened, and the shocking feeling they had when they heard the news. When this first happened most people were scared for their lives and the lives of their loved ones. It was not until later that people started to ask questions about who was behind these events. Allegedly, a number of terrorists affiliated with the group Al-Qaeda were responsible. A few months after the attacks of 9/11 a group of skeptics formed something called “The 9/11 Truth Movement”. This group found a number of occurrences and facts that make some of the attacks and other happenings of 9/11, not likely, possibly set up, and in some cases nearly impossible. One of the groups most popular claims was that the World Trade Center falling was a controlled demolition. After demolition experts reviewed the videos of the World Trade Center falling, they agreed with the skeptics of the 9/11 Truth Movement. According to experts the building falls as if many small explosives were planted on all sides and it exploded in a very specific order, just like in a controlled demolition. When videos of the World Trade Center falling are compared with a building...

...doctors and other medical professionals. Other parents seem to look at homeopathy, nature and metaphysical tendencies to resolve their medical dilemma as regards to the vaccine.[Huntley and Peeters, 2010; Battles, 2008]. It is at this point that Lewandowski et al. [2013] and his believed that with an increase in knowledge the worldview polarization of science also doubled. Apparently, these issues are evident to point out to the fact that anti-vaccine attitudes are predicted by them. But there is very limited research in place, to depict the underlying factor beneath these forms of psychosocial behaviors against vaccines. The notion of worldview approach to anti-vaccine over vaccines is a current one and stems from paranormal, spiritual, and conspiracy beliefs over the vaccines. These non-evidence ways of life seem to reach out to the attitudes parents depict over vaccines for such a long time.[Jolley and Douglas, 2014; Goertzel, 1994] There those, who see that vaccines are unsafe, impure according to God’s purpose of creation [O’shea, 2001] and even with governments like the Australian taking the Slovakian approach [Kasarda ,2013; Behrmann2010 ],...

Loose Change Documentart Response

...On September 11, 2001 the United States became ground for numerous terrorist attacks, killing many innocent Americans. One of the attacks included the crashing of United Airlines Flight 93. The plan crashed at 10:03 A.M into a field in Shanksville Pennsylvania at 580 mph. It was Boeing 757 that held 37 passengers and 7 crew members that all were killed from the crash. The flights path was originally suppose to fly from Newark, New Jersey to San Francisco, California, until four Muslim Hijackers took control of the plane and were headed toward Washington D.C (Avery). The passengers were frightened for their lives and several were able to make phone calls to their families to say their last goodbyes before the crash. When the passengers were aware of the danger around them they made an attempt to regain control of the plane which caused the crash. After the crash there were little remains of the plane or its passengers, except for a few debris pieces scattered about the area. The crash did manage to leave a crater in the ground that was about 20-15 ft long and about 10ft. wide (Avery). It will always be remembered as a tragic day, one that many are still unclear of. Watching the Loose Change Documentary about 9/11 reveled some very striking information. Their theory is that everything that happened that day including the crashing of Flight 93 was a part of a government conspiracy. They feel the government had knowledge of the attacks prior to their happenings and......

Global Terrorism

...COULD THE ATTACK ON 9/11 HAVE BEEN PREVENTED? Author: LJ Florida International University Course: Global Terrorism Professor: Dr. Oscar Vigoa October 27, 2015 Abstract September 11 was a very unique and sad day in the history of America. We were attacked by Terrorist from the Alqueada group in the very worst possible way. This attack was very brutal and symbolic. What sets the foundation of a country is generally its economy, security and its government. On that day America was attacked at all level. The World Trade Center was a symbol of our economy, The Pentagon, our defense/security and Capitol Hill which also was a target is a symbol of our government since it is the metonym for Congress. Up till this day people have many questions regarding this tragedy, how it come about and why our National Security was so easily compromised. Very few answers however have been provided. This research paper goes through a close analysis of the attack on that day, accentuating on the hijackers behavior specifically Mohammed Atta. The airport security system prior to 911 I is also discussed. Finally emphasis is put on our intelligence agencies particularly the FBI and the CIA which apparently were in possession of crucial information that could have prevented this attack here on US soil. ...

...scandal relates to accounting theory 8 RELATION TO POSITIVE ACCOUNTING THEORY 9 Conservatism Principle 9 Lack of Reliability 10 Lack of Relevance 11 Financial Misstatement 11 Conclusion 12 Bibliography 14 Insight on WorldCom Scandal ABSTRACT The scope of this paper deals with the WorldCom accounting scandal of the early 2000’s as it relates to elements of accounting theory. The discussion will cover the key reasons that contributed to the collapse of WorldCom. Specifically, this paper will look at: Executive compensation, Earnings Management, and Information Asymmetry. The authors will present arguments that clearly show how each of these three sub-topics played a pivotal role in the scandal. The reader will also see how these reasons are often inter-related, and often overlap each other, the enormity of which caused the company to fall like a stack of dominoes. In particular, information asymmetry was allowed to flourish as the WorldCom executives lavished themselves with huge compensation, all the while keeping the board of directors and investors out of the loop. A poor corporate government structure existed as the board was filled with inept and ineffective individuals who were powerless to stop the pilfering of profits. The end result of these actions can be seen in how the former employees of WorldCom have been victimized the hardest, in terms of their pensions being gutted, as a result of corporate greed. Agency theory will be used to......

Zeitgeist

...Zeitgeist Zeitgeist the movie is directed by Peter Joseph. This film focuses on the a number of conspiracy theory based ideas focusing in discrediting religion. The first part of Zeitgeist asserts that every early civilization worhsipped the sun and considered it to be both the creator and savior of mankind. The film also tries to compare Jesus to the Egyptian deity Horus. God of the Sun acording to the film, and God of the Sky according to the scholars. But nevermind their meddling. Joseph goes about his comparison by taking the story of Jesus' life (born on December 25, had 12 followers, was crucified, etc.) and inserting the word "Horus" in place of "Jesus". Indeed there are many coincidences between the Egyptian Sun God and Jesus Christ. Horus was born on December 25th to the virgis Isis, He was adorned by three “kings” who followed an eastern star, He was deemed a prodigy at 12 and was baptized at the Age of 30 , He also traveled with 12 disciples and traveled around performing miracles , His alternate names included “Lamb of God”, “The truth, the light” and He was betrayed, crucified, buried from the dead and rose three days later. I think the point Peter Joseph is making here can somewhat be true due to the facts that he had shown. It is actually against religion and shows how religion is based off astrology and how people used the constellations to make up story of Jesus. The coincidences between the history of the sun and Jesus Christ is also very......

Illuminati and the Government

...We live in a democratic system, but still legitimacy questions remain. Does the American public really have the power that the government says that we do? There have been many conspiracies concerning our government, making it the center of discussions among different age and ethnicity groups. Some of these conspiracies include the Kennedy assassination, and even the death of Princess Diana. These stories have gained attention worldwide and to this day we still hear about them. One conspiracy that is becoming to surface quite rapidly is the existence of the Illuminati. The infamous Illuminati secret society has remained one of the conspiracy theories for hundreds of years, but still there are many people that have not heard of it. “They have been called the puppet masters who secretly pull the strings of the world’s events from elections to revolutions and from business monopolies to stock market crashes” (Dice 1). Many researchers and some of the general public have several suspicions that somehow, somewhere, a secret plan is constantly lucking behind the scenes. The word Illuminati derives from the Latin word Illumine, which means, “To be enlightened.” The members from this secret society feel that they are superior and have a higher level of intellect. Their basic goal is to create a one-world government, which can also be known as “New World Order.” These masterminds have been achieving this through the media and money system.  They have the means to control the media......

Johansen's phrase "a mountain walked or stumbled" gives a sense of the creature's scale[8] (this is corroborated by Wilcox's dreams, which "touched wildly on a gigantic thing 'miles high' which walked or lumbered about"). Cthulhu is depicted as having a worldwide cult centered in Arabia, with followers in regions as far-flung as Greenland and Louisiana.[9] There are leaders of the cult "in the mountains of China" who are said to be immortal. Cthulhu is described by some of these cultists as the "great priest" of "the Great Old Ones who lived ages before there were any men, and who came to the young world out of the sky."[10] The cult is noted for...

Days of Infamy

...911: “The Day of Infamy, the Day We Will Never Forget” Devry University: Contemporary History Spring B Russell Johnson The date is September 11th, 2001. A normal day to the masses and the world, the weather is calm and cheerful birds are chirping and people are getting ready to depart to their jobs or reporting for a day of work while students are in school busy learning of current events, and expanding their knowledge. How could any of us know that this peaceful day would abruptly come to a startling end, and in such a horrific way? Years later, many would ask “where were you when it happened?” What seemed as a normal day to me which consisted of me sleeping in as I didn’t have to work on this particular day, I was awoken by my phone ringing and my hysterical mother on the other end of the line “TURN ON THE T.V. NOW!!!” she screamed and so as I wiped the sleep from my eyes and reached for the remote to do as she had instructed I asked her what’s wrong? and she cannot give me an answer as she is too upset to speak at this moment. Upon turning on the television to Fox 5, I was instantly snapped out of my usual morning stupor as horror crept into me. What I saw was nothing less than heart wrenching. The United States had been attacked by an unknown face, for unknown reasons, and all we the American people could do now was watch in horror. As the reporter spoke footage of the twin towers was replayed over and over again, and I watched in horror as a......
