Effects of School Trips on Overall Education

...The lack of educational field trips in the United States is increasing. Many academic institutions believe that they could be a distraction. Field trips are definitely a decline in colleges across the country. This is especially surprising because the hands on experience in the real world are definitely what college students need to be a part of. They are going to be on their own in various industries, and there are certain things you cannot learn in a classroom. This is especially true in business and more specifically operations management. Going out and seeing what you talk about in class is much more effective than just reading it in a textbook. College students interested in operations management and other types of businesses should be provided with opportunities to go on field trips and learn from active professionals, visit current facilities and witness learned concepts, live in action. In the first article, “Field Trips: Are They Really That Valuable” they provide great evidence to support the idea that field trips are very imperative for education. Legal and Ethical Implications in Education

...contributed to the incident, it can be classified as contributory negligence in which the teacher can no longer be held liable. Often the factors of development and age appropriate ability are evaluated closely in attempt to establish contributory negligence.
