The tagline presents a fear tactic that is important in order to present the information effectively because fear is something that people listen to, especially in health-related contexts. In the same vein, the advertisement also shows what the teeth would look like overtime without care. By presenting this idea in the shape of a heart, it also shows what your heart would be like over time. The main subject of the photo ties the two subjects (teeth and hearts) together. Additionally, the caption provides a hook to the reader by saying that this information came from research studies. Health advertisements are more effective if they can be backed up by research studies or statistics because this makes it seem more trustworthy to the reader. Curaprox is trying to convey the importance of taking care of your teeth through all of the features and well-executed information provided in their
