BEGINNING WITH CHRIST

LESSON 1: THE CERTAINTY OF SALVATION

“For it is by grace you have been saved through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no-one can boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9)

MEASURE OF SUCCESS: Understand the foundations upon which your own personal certainty as a child of God rests.

INTRODUCTION: The act of receiving Christ as Lord and Saviour is the most important decision of our lives. When we receive Christ, we are born into the family of God and receive everything we need in order to live the abundant Christian life. Our confidence is based on the person of Jesus Christ.

2.See Matthew 7:24-29, a What happened to the house on the rock when the rain came and the wind blew? b What happened to the house built on sand? Why?
3.According to 1 Corinthians 3:11, who is our foundation?

1.See Revelations 3:20, a What does it mean “to open the door?” b What does Jesus Christ promise?
2 According to 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, a What is my body now? b Who owns me now and why? c So what should I do?
3.Read Colossians 2:6-7, a How have we received Jesus Christ? b How should we “walk”?

Column 2: The certainty of forgiveness
1.See Colossians 1:13-14, a What did the Lord do for us? b Where has he moved us to? c What do we have as a result of this?
2. According to Hebrews 10:17 a What has God done with our sins? b Does anything else need to be done? c Can is a we say that God is a “forgiven but not forgotten” kind of person?

Column 3: The certainty of being children of God
(Paternity of God)
1.See John 1:12-13, a Are all humans children of God? b How do we become children of God?
2.Read Romans 8:14-16, a What is our relationship with God like? b Who convinces us that we are children of God?

Column 4: The certainty of purpose
1.See 2 Corinthians 5:17, a What does it mean to be a £new creation”? b What happens to things from our past?
2.Read Mark 2:21-22,
Humans reject God’s solution (Jesus Christ) and think they can reform and change others through moral, intellectual or religious education. According to the passage, what are such solutions equal to?

Column 5: The certainty of eternal life
1.See Romans 6:23, a What is the God’s gift? b Who did He send it to me through?
2.Read 1 John 5:11-12, a What is “the testimony”?
3.According to John 17:3, What does eternal life consist of?
4.According to John 5:24, Who has eternal life?

Economic Geography and Supply Chain Evolvement

...INTRODUCTION Economic geography involves an inconsistency in global competition. Traditional roles of locations been reduced by the new technology and present competition. Resource, capital, technology, corporate networks weakened the necessity of where the firms should be located. Clusters are geographic essence of interrelated companies, service providers, suppliers, institutions which are not only competing but also cooperate in different business areas in advanced world. (The Competitive Advantage of Nations; Porter, 1990) There are so many theories about cluster but still it is hard to understand the competitive strategy of present global economy. To turn the family business around and start seeing a profit again the business as a whole needs to be revamped. The main objective is profit so we have to become more aggressive and get that advantage that my grandfather had back when first opened the café. Also we need to catch back up with the times of the 21st century and use these tools that are at our disposal. We need to first keep our current customers while attracting new customers. To organize such an effort we will implement a new frequency reward program. We will have the cards on display for pick up, the card we say something in the form of once you buy your fourth item your fifth item will be half off. To attract the new customers, we will put a small ad in the local paper that the customers can cut out and once they came in we would exchange it for the official one. To them, wealth can be acquired without sweat or hard work and they have many examples of people who have acquired vast amounts of wealth without pain. Unfortunately, these people that they look up to have acquired their wealth illegally without any convictions. Young employees do not care whether the business grows or not, to them they are working just for the convenience before they move on to well paying jobs. In the work environments that I have experienced, the Sheehy report gives an accurate picture of what is on the ground. Young employees consider themselves as the bosses to the customer. They believe that the customers depend on their services instead of the opposite. Most of my former colleagues believed that the companies we worked at depended on us entirely, and that our absence would lead to the collapse of the company. The management was viewed as a burden, and the people who had occupied those positions, got there due to family connections, friendships, or corruption but not through hard...
