Eventyr
Folkeeventyret inddeles ofte i to store grupper, kaldt for trylleeventyr og skæmteeventyr.
Men Græshoppen sprang kongen lige i ansigtet.
Men alligevel vinder alt, eksempel i ”Springfyre” eventyr vinder Springgaasen prinsessen.

...Dashes There are many uses of the en and em dash and also many ways to form these dashes using your computer. The following explanations offer the most common uses and methods for forming these dashes. En Dash An en dash, roughly the width of an n, is a little longer than a hyphen. It is used for periods of time when you might otherwise use to. Examples: The years 2001–2003 January–June An en dash is also used in place of a hyphen when combining open compounds. Examples: North Carolina–Virginia border a high school–college conference Most authorities recommend using no spaces before or after en or em dashes. Then type the second number or word. An em-dash is typically used to act as a comma or parenthesis to separate out phrases—or even just a word—in a sentence for various reasons (i.e. an appositive). Examples where an em-dash should be used: School is based on the three R’s—reading, writing, and ’rithemtic. Against all odds, Pete—the unluckiest man alive—won the lottery. Everlasting Youth

...Esteban Garcia ENG101W Sec. 1008 Ms. Dickerson 29 September 2011 Everlasting Youth In Josh Weil’s narrative “The Summer That Ended All Summers” he conveys the theme that liberty always ends along with youth. He uses several literary features, the most predominant being his vivid use of imagery in addition to his clever use of syntax, punctuation and tone. Weil manages to paint pictures that illustrate the sense of freedom and exploration. He then uses syntax along with certain punctuation to create a tone that mimics his imagery and expresses his sense of losing his liberty. The end result is a narrative that relays to its readers the theme that liberty ends along with youth. In Josh’s narrative he begins by alluding to what might have caused a spinal disk to burst and how it ended his summer in North Africa. Then he goes on to recounting the fun moments he had while a kid with his brother during summer. They would travel over the world. Some of the places Josh mentions in his narrative are,England, Scotland, France, Spain and even the city of light, Paris! Unfortunately this came to an end after Weil’s injury and now rests with his brother’s family, still thinking of exploration. The entire narrative is filled with imagery. In the beginning, Josh paints the image of freedom that he as a young person had. He begins by painting in the first paragraph vivid pictures pyramids and valiant scenes of men leaping from tussock to tussock. He does this throughout the his narrative...

He does not want to keep Penny locked up, because of how many exciting experiences she could enjoy, that he did not. Andy is very relaxed, when it comes to his life. Living on the Dash

...Living on the Dash Will the life you’ve lived on your short “-“(dash) speak for itself when the sun sets? In John Donne’s Hymn to God, My God, In My Sickness, the poet speaks to both the Lord and the reader as he lies on his death bed. Donne has been fine tuning himself for the triumph in Heaven. He admits that he has had both good and bad in his life, but asks the Lord to seek the good in him and embrace his soul. There is a direct correlation with the life you live here on Earth and with the next (afterlife). Donne is both the narrator and the character of this poem. He speaks of his experiences as he nears death. He realizes death is eminent, and he will soon rejoice with the “choirs of saints” (Donne line 2) in Heaven, but wonders what would he do when he reaches Heaven. Donne’s writing style of metaphysics is used in this poem and in several others. The narrator has an extensive interest in religion, cartography and geography. It is no wonder he shows interest in these areas as it was during this time in European civilization that they experienced the “New Age of Discovery”. There were explorations of new land; the replacing of the Ptolemaic model of an Earth-centered universe with Copernicus’s heliocentric (Sun-centered) model; the invention of Mariner’s compass; and various other developments and reformations. He writes, “...Whilst my physicians by their love are grown/ Cosmographers and I their map” (7) He equates his body to a map and his physicians to cosmographers...

...consequences of living a life with high blood pressure can lead to heart and kidney disease, stroke and blindness. The DASH diet is often suggested to people suffering from hypertension and focuses on portion size, eating a variety of foods and getting the right amount of nutrients (Mayoclinic.org, 2013). DASH stands for Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension. The DASH eating plan has no special foods and hard to follow recipes. The diet follows out a simple daily servings table that is easy to follow. DASH diet is well known and encourages a reduction in sodium intake in a person’s diet and eat foods rich in nutrients that help lower blood pressure such as potassium, calcium and magnesium. Vegetables, fruit, low-fat dairy with moderate amounts of whole grains, fish, poultry and nuts are the consistency of the diet. This diet is not geared to be a weight loss program, but a healthier way of living. A Dash of Nutrition

...CHAPTER 1 Text and its source A Dash of Nutrition By DIANE MARTINDA The fortification of salt with iodine is a global success story: with two out of three household in the developing world now consuming iodized salt, an estimated 82 million children are protected from thyroid disease and resultant learning disabilities every year. Still, people suffer from a lack of other micronutrients. For years, food scientists have looked for a way to fortify iodized salt to combat iron-deficiency anemia, which affects some two billion people, as well as vitamin A deficiency, which afflicts at least 100 million children in poor countries and is the leading cause of blindness among them. Canadian researchers have now developed practical way to double- and triple- fortify salt, which might also be more acceptable to people than genetically modified foods in tackling malnutrition. Adding iron to iodized salt is a simple idea that has proved difficult to execute. The chemicals are incompatible: when mixed together, iodine vaporizes and iron degrades. After more than a decade, Levente Doisady, a chemical engineer at the University of Toronto, finally solved the problem by borrowing a technique from the food industry referred to as microencapsulation. The process involves spraying iron particles with stearine, a vegetable fat, which creates a protective coat and prevents the iron from reacting with the iodine. Encapsulating the iron, however, was only part of the solution. Diosady’s...

Since type 2 diabetes is a worldwide health problem, this information could change the incidence of this disease significantly. Diet plays an important role in preventing and controlling diabetes. Nine random clinical trials were used to compile the information in this article. Six of these were from the United States, one was from the United Kingdom, and two were conducted in Iran. Included in these trials were 453 adult men and 786 adult women. All participants were between the ages of 21 and 69 years old. The random clinical trials lasted a range of 3-24 weeks total. The authors of the article used these nine trials to compile data on the effects of the DASH diet on three main components effecting the development of diabetes. At last, its fundamentally the same sort of game we've played many times in the recent past, which is a disgrace truly, given the fabulous source material. Instead of essentially being relied upon to continue playing to the extent that this would be possible without a genuine objective as a top priority, at any rate Looney Tunes Dash does offer a few objectives for you to finish every time you play.
