My claim was that song lyrics are instrumental in a dancer’s success for not only the Dazzler Dance Team, but also for any other dance team. I interviewed Gabrielle DeTommaso, who provided insight on how officers and four-year expert members viewed the dance team. My claim was supported by not only Gabi, but by my observations from being on the dance team. Gabi described how we communicate the text through our performances. Also, the song lyrics provided by the coaches gave the dance members a background to their performance.
