The thrilling end to a hard fought football game between the Ely Tigers and the Dillard Panthers seemed to be pretty crazy. But was the catch really that great? In reality, Donnell Wilson did make the game winning catch against Dillard to win the game. However, it wasn’t a terrific catch, just a good catch that was able to win it.
According to many witnesses, this catch was just a lucky good catch. Mark Burton, Dillard’s defensive coach stated, “Ely ended up on the ground with the ball and the touchdown.
