Throughout history, imperialism has been explained from different aspects. Some have seen imperialism as a beneficial influence, and others have seen it as a harmful influence. But even though imperialism has benefited the U.S and other countries, it also had a negative outcome upon the seized nation. Throughout the Documents there are many examples of the negatives of imperialism. One Document that shows negative effects of imperialism was document 2. In Document 2, there is a quote that states," When the Whites came to our country, we had the land and they had the Bible. Now we have the Bible and they have the land."
