Nutrition

...nutrition concerns in America are associated with severe diseases like diabetes, obesity, heart disease, cancer and hypertension. Nutritionists assure that physical activity and eating the right foods are the best medicines. However, research shows that Americans do not follow the right recommendations. This was the main reason why I chose to teach this topic. Providing them with the right information and guidelines to face this issue is my goal. Besides being well aware and informed about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, I am a person who is really passionate for food, cooking, and exercising. I am constantly reading and researching about nutritional news, facts and healthy ideas to include into my daily basis. Moreover, I am currently interning at WBHI, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to help women with breast cancer and heart disease. I am confident that prevention and education is key to a healthier and happier life. These are other secondary reasons why I felt motivated to teach students and professors in my community about “Healthy Lifestyle.” I will take advantage of this lesson as a way to educate my peers and professors using the right teaching techniques about what I already know and feel passionate about. First, I most understand their attitudes towards health and food. From past experiences and research, I have acknowledged that students and professors at college and universities like UM are relatively conscious about health issues. Most of them know...

Bsop – 588 Managing Quality

...Introduction AT&T is one of the largest telecommunications carriers in the United States it is head quartered in downtown Dallas. As of 2012 it is the 7th largest company by total revenue, and 5th non-oil company behind Apple, Wal-Mart, GE and Bank of America. AT&T started as South Western Bell one of the seven Regional Bell Operating Companies created 1983 before they were ordered to break up due to the United States v. AT&T Anitrust lawsuit. Southwestern Bell changed there to SBC which also almost caused me my job because I was not expecting a call from “SBC” but rather South Western Bell. I remember answering the phone and asking the young lady to please hold while I was trying to figure out who she was with. Fast forward twelve years later and we have gone through several mergers and acquisitions and we currently have over 200,000 employees around the world. For many years AT&T has been ahead of their competitors. The innovation of their products and services assisted them in increasing their market share within the industry. Over the last couple of years, the competition has introduced several products and services that have challenged AT&T’s market share. And as we look towards the future we willingly accept that there is always room for improvement. Problem Statement We are focused on being the number one carrier in the United States and as we expand our 4g network we have discovered an issue in our quality measurements. We do not have an automated...

Digital Marketing

...Media Marketing is a component of digital marketing. Many organizations use a combination of traditional and digital marketing channels. In simplistic terms, digital marketing is the promotion of products or brands via one or more forms of electronic media. Importance of Digital Marketing: Digital media is so pervasive that consumers have access to information any time and any place they want it. Fly Fishing

...CHAPTER I INTRODUCTION Background of the Study Fishes are caught essentially for consumption. However, catching fish happens to be a well-known recreational pastime as well. Recreational fishing is also known as sport fishing. The main motive behind recreational fishing is pleasure or relaxation along with competition in some cases. It should not be mixed with subsistence or commercial fishing. While subsistence fishing is for basic survival, commercial fishing is essentially for profit. In some countries, recreational fishing has various rules as well as regulations to follow and enjoy the process. The regulations that are imposed on recreational fishing include the laws and the licensing restrictions that deal with limiting the procedures by which the fish might be caught. The most typical of these restrictions include prohibition in using nets and using hooks that are not into the mouth. The most usual form of such fishing is done with the aid of line, reel, rod, hooks, etc. These devices should be used along with the huge range of available baits. In order to help the individuals in the act of fishing, devices called terminal tackle are also used widely. The devices that are generally considered under terminal tackle include floats, swivels, weights, etc. These devices usually help to complement the bait that is being presented to the target. Sometimes lures, instead of baits are also used in recreational fishing. Some of the enthusiastic individuals insist...

Tata Sky- Dth

...Promotion: 8 Place: 8 Conclusion 8 References 8 I. Introduction What is the very first thing or imagery that comes to our mind when we say the acronym DTH? Maybe we visualize Shahrukh Khan in his signature lover-boy arms-wide-spread pose urging us to wish for more (Dish Karo, Wish Karo). Maybe we think about a certain Bunty’s mummy, who is a housewife, speaking fluent English she has learnt from Tata Sky Active English Speaking course; or Reliance urging us to go BIG (TV ho toh BIG ho). Depending on the customer base and loyalty, different people will have different imagery of DTH. During the last decade of the twentieth century, introduction of the cable TV operators in India took the TV industry by a storm. With channels like SONY, Star Plus entering the Indian TV industry through cable, the evergreen Doordarshan faced stiff competition to thrive in their otherwise monopolized entertainment industry. Slowly, with more revenue being put into private cable TV channels, quality of TV programs increased by leaps and bounds. Doordarshan struggled to survive against the onslaught of the private TV channels. With the cable TV operators slowly increasing their reach to the semi urban small town and some rural markets, Doordarshan kept on losing their market share to the...
