Introduction:

This case is good illustration about how to start a business with limited amount of resources in a new industry with an existing but innovated product. Taking advantage of an existing patent, Deaver Brown and Alex Goodwin were able to succesfully adapt this innovative product (folding baby stroller) to the US Market.

At the initial business phase, the US market seemed to be reluctant to accept this product due to its main attributes (light) and the perception on customers mind at that time was that due to its light configuration, it might be durable enough.
