Have you ever asked yourself or someone else: “Are you scared of dying?”. I’m sure you have, or have at least pondered the question… I assure you that death is better than never existing. Prometheus could tell you this much, and I’m sure you absently know it, but do you understand it? Understand the fear that would come of being forgotten? The terror of knowing that you will never have a future, that you’ve never had a past, that you don’t exist.

There’s a saying that goes along the lines of ‘I think, therefore I am’, you are conscious, therefore you exist in this immensely large universe where anything could be possible, but maybe it’s not such a happy thought. “I think, therefore you are” is a much more lonely passage, but it rings true …show more content…
The girl thought, wearing a faded spring green hoodie. She knew those thoughts seemed strange, but in her situation she could only resent the poor man on the busy alleyway, selling fruits and such. She strode past his cart of food and pretended to examine the cart next to his, picking up a stray apple and looking over it. She looked up to the woman selling the apples and smiled before walking away, pocketing the apple. She sat down on a bench within view of the market place and the fruit seller to see what the racket was all about, apparently the woman was holding one of possible customers by the shirt, accusing him of thievery, the man was worried as some other of the arabbers simply looked at him in disgust. The one holding him was telling him to either put the apple back or he’ll never see another sunset in his life. Oh shit…. What a bunch of idiots! She laughed to herself, before remembering something important, throwing the core of the apple away, she strod up to the merchant next to the apple cart and punched his face in with a quick left jab, pocketing some fruit before running away. She sat down and began rubbing her fist lightly, Tch, why’s he gotta have such a hard head? She secretly scorned him for something he couldn’t have possibly had any control over, staring at the man rubbing his face and looking around pensively.
