The differences between learning, education, training and development

The century, in which we live demands from us to be always in a hurry, it is a time of great competition, so we have to be ready to compete. The four main phenomenons which are very important in this century are learning, education, training and development, they are crucial, without them we cannot do anything for success.
I will try to explain the difference between these four terms.
“The bottom of learning is bitter but it will be sweet in a top” – said the great Georgian poet of twelve’s century – Shota Rustively, so in that time it was already known that learning was very significant. Learning and education have a great influence on an individual.
Learning, we can define as a process of gaining new skills, knowledge and values. The individual is learning from his birth till his death. From learning to talk, walk, run etc, to learning to operate a computer, fly a plane to learning to socialize, to lead a group, to move an idea....
Education, we get from school or university, education is related to classroom learning.
Learning is knowledge gained through experience and education is knowledge gained through teaching. "Education is an admirable thing, but it is well to remember from time to time that nothing that is worth learning can be taught." -- Oscar Wilde.
Training and development are interrelated terms, but there are many differences between them.
Training is the process of providing employees with specific competences or helping them correct deficiencies in their performance. Development is an effort to provide employees with the organizational will need in the future. Training is concerned with teaching specific, narrow things.
