Bikram Yoga is comprehensive workout that includes all the components of fitness: muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiovascular flexibility and weight loss. This is the only yoga style that performs in a heated environment. A gold medal Olympic weight lifter is the founder of this style. Individuals looking for an intense workout or fast weight loss. Benefits are you get a good sweat it, and may lose weight. A risk may be that the room may get to hot. Hatha is a basic form of yoga that incorporates: posture, breathing, and meditation into its workouts. It has become very popular in America as source of exercise and stress management. Individuals started out or need a time to relax would enjoy this style. Benefits would be better flexibility, posture, and a relaxed feeling. With any yoga, injury may occur it you over do it. Yin Yoga is recognized for its long held poses. It’s more for the joints than the muscles, it directs the stimulation into areas deeper than the muscular tissues. Individuals looking to strengthen their joints may practice this style to benefit stronger joints. A risk may be over doing a move. I would love to try these, I think they would mix things up. I’ve heard about doing yoga in a hot room, and it’s always made me nervous, but I’d still try it.

Reading the bible is also considered jnana yoga since you will gain knowledge by doing this. This type of yoga was refined by a school of philosophy that is still being done today the school of Vedanta. The Vedanta school uses the ideas of the Upanishads as its primary inspiration.
