In the introduction, I would like to write little information about a what the text will be about. My discussion will be about rich people, of course this is one of the biggest issue. However, in the following paragraphs, I am going to tell the friends of the wealthy people. Lot of people are familiar with this subject. The questions are, can they get friend? Have they got a true friend.
Firstly, I would like to mention that, it might be a dream for them, to get a real true friend for the rest of their life. Nevertheless, it is much easier to get too much friend, which they always respect him mostly, because of he is rich. In that case, it is not difficult for him to get a friend or a girlfriend. You can have whatever you need, a part of one think, A good, long and strong friendship. Nothing can replace it.
Secondly, in any case, being a good friend, is an always one of the tricky thinks. It is a big but at the same time a nice responsibility. I agree that, it is difficult for rich people to get a real and a true friend. Most of people thinks that your best friend is your wife or husband. I think, it is not a right way, because of a relationship and the lifestyle are almost the same between you, and it is normal to understand each other. Challenges of Hrm in Nigeria

...1 ENGAGING THE CHALLENGES OF HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT IN PUBLIC ORGANISATIONS IN NIGERIA By Prof. Fab Obeta Onah Professor of Public Administration and Local Government University of Nigeria Introduction The increasing importance of people as the primary sustainable source of competitive advantage makes it even more important that dedicated resources and thinking time are applied to the strategies through which people are developed and managed. - CIPD, 2001 I remain honoured, and humbled by this opportunity given to me to share my experiences with distinguished personalities here present. I thank God for making this lecture possible and even thank Him more for making it possible for all of us to be present here today. Issues in human resource management concern all of us if we remember that at one time or the other we are challenged to take a second look at the responses, attitudes, interests, competencies, etc of people associated with us. Sometimes, we are also required to be in control of other people whose behaviour is always intangible, unpredictable and subjective. The world in which human resource managers exist and in which they interact, is continually changing, generating new issues and conundrums to consider. While in most cases, managers have a fair degree of choice about how to deal with new ideas and new sets of circumstances, the choices themselves are often difficult. Attempt is made in this lecture to clearly define and contextualize Human Resource (HR) Management...

Child Discipline

...Anton Shusterman June 4th, 2011 Child Discipline The most important thing in a child’s life is how his parents treat him. His future and the potential for growth and success are determined by the type of childhood that a person experiences. Sometimes parents don’t understand how important it is to treat their children well. Parents don’t think about the words that they say to their children or the actions that they take around them. Some parents think their children are too small and they will not remember the words and actions going on around them, but discipline is not only showing children how to live life and what not to do in any given situation. Discipline is also showing children what they are supposed to do and how they are supposed to conduct themselves in a given day or situation. The best forms of discipline are the ones that help our children realize their potential while making it seem like they are accomplishing success on their own. Children are thought as being difficult and hard to control and we have made movies and shows about such unruly children where their parents do not discipline them correctly and they turn out to be criminals or deadbeats when they become adults. In movies, where there are children that are treated very well i.e. educated, given love and affection, and told to treat others with respect they are thought of as boring, stuck-up, or arrogant. Movies such as Cheaper by Dozen 1 and 2 show how rich children who are successful are inherently...

Classroom Management

...Running head: Discipline and Management: Different Yet Related Discipline and Management: Different Yet Related Angela Williams EDU August 15th, 2012 For many years I associated discipline with whooping or punishment. When I heard of someone being disciplined by their parents, I always thought they had gotten a spanking. Later, I soon learned that when you discipline someone you help to guide them in the right direction, you steer them from the wrong they’ve done. For instance, I disciplined my child just last night by taking away his iPad because he has been being mean to his teacher. When she asks him to do something, he tells her no. When he made it home yesterday I sat him down and talked to him about his behavior and I let him that it was unacceptable. He did much better today. “Discipline is based on logical and natural consequences; it is concerned with the present. Options are kept open so students can choose to improve behavior and gain self-control. Discipline is an active teaching process which involves communication. It is organized and ensures involvement of all stakeholders.” (EDU 536 Lectures) “The tactics that teachers use to manage student behavior are referred to as discipline or behavior management.” (Charles, 2008, p. 9) “Classroom management refers to all of the things that a teacher does to organize students, space, time and materials so that instruction in content and student learning can take place”...

This is what my speech will elaborates about, what does it takes to be a good parents. Yes, you can find hundreds of websites, thousands of books, and no shortage of magazines about parenting, but if you ask few people about the most important parenting quality, you will likely end up with just as many answers. Some would say love, attention, money, wealth, food. Some would say spending quality time with them while others would say discipline. But what is it actually? Which and how these factors would make parents, good? The truth is, it is hard to say because a parent is not intrinsically bad or good; they are just a parent who makes good or bad choices. Parenting actually is an ongoing process that has some trial and error, and requires you to accept and learn from your limitations. It is exactly like baking a cake. You put everything that you thought would make your cake tasty, but in the end, it is hardly...

Parenting

...“I don’t believe in smacking as a method of pu nishment for a child who ha s done something wrong . I don’t think it works.” Lorraine Kelly, T V presenter and m um of one Most parents say their children are the most important part of their lives. They bring joy and laughter and give you a stake in the future. But sometimes being a parent isn’t easy. It can be challenging and exhausting. At such times, parents who are normally loving and caring can find themselves “losing it” and hitting their children. Most parents don’t think hitting children is right, yet in times of stress, anger or frustration find themselves lashing out. But many feel guilty afterwards and want to find better ways of handling difficult behaviour. We’ve collected the best advice from professionals, as well as some top tips from parents, to help you understand positive parenting and positive discipline, and that using physical punishment is never a good idea for children of any age. Which type of parent are you? Read the following three descriptions and decide which one you think is closest to you: “Raising children is a constant battle.” You often: • have lots of strict rules • use demands and threats to keep your child under control • punish harshly and smack often. “I just want a quiet life.” You: • forget about your own needs and ignore all naughty behaviour, even when it is far from minor • always give in to whining • don’t encourage independence, instead doing everything for your child. “I love...

You have been trained to fight. Yours is the profession of arms, the will to win, the sure knowledge that in war there is no substitute for victory, that if you lose, the nation will be destroyed. ...discovers how to respond to a stimulus in their atmosphere. Operant conditioning is when one responds to a reward or penalty. The foremost difference between classical and operant conditioning is the response and a stimulus, which can lead to addictions and phobias. Addictions An addiction is a determined behavior in wanting and needing something. Most know it can have unsympathetic consequences, but the individual will continue this behavior because of the addictions. Furthermore, the majority of addictions start with a satisfying involvement with something and desires to prolong or recreate the act. The addictive individual will endure the behavior with very little, if any self-discipline, even when it can become damaging or has already taken over their body. A person who is addicted will familiarize with desires and cravings to connect with the behavior and this need will build up, until the behavior kicks in again, typically feeling relief, and ecstasy (Grant, Potenza, Weinstein, & Gorelick, 2010). Additionally, operant conditioning is controlled by the environment using reinforcement or punishment toward good or bad behavior. Addictions strive for instant gratification from ones drives and impulses. Operant conditioning focuses on behavior that is voluntary and there are numerous types of addictions. For example, gambling is an addiction and reward may be given in the end. Also, sex...

Leadership Styles & the Role of a Team Leader

...90 Credit Diploma in Uniformed Public Services Unit 2, Assignment 1: Different Leadership Styles in the Uniformed Public Services A leadership style is how the task is approached while motivating and instructing a team. Without an effective leader the completion of the goal is reduced. Leadership Styles The authoritarian leader tells people how they want things done without discussing it with others. This style is commonly seen used in services such as the Army, where a strict role of discipline is expected from soldiers under higher commands. In war, there is no time to think so a set task can help prevent deaths and mistakes. It also helps newer recruits know what to do when they need to. Authoritarian leadership is useful when working with time restraints and deadlines. These leaders often keep their team motivated which allows jobs to be finished quickly and effectively and allows the best equipped to be making decisions. However, it may lead staff to feel unappreciated and angry. This style can also prevent staff from developing their own initiative. Communications can break down and in the long run the employees can lose their drive for the job. The democratic leader encourages people to be part of the decision making process. The leader is still in control, however, this leadership style allows others to use their personal experiences and expertise to help the team. An example of this style could be at a community meeting with the public; they bring forth...

It is a state of emotional, physical, economic and sexual maltreatment meted out to a person below the age of eighteen and is a globally prevalent phenomenon. However, in India, as in many other countries, there has been no understanding of the extent, magnitude and trends of the problem. The growing complexities of life and the dramatic changes brought about by socio-economic transitions in India have played a major role in increasing the vulnerability of children to various and newer forms of abuse. Child abuse has serious physical and psycho-social consequences which adversely affect the health and overall well-being of a child. 1.
