1. Is it fair that an actor or sport athlete makes more money than a doctor, a teacher, or a person serving in the military?
Someones salary is usually based on the amount of education, knowledge, experience and amount of risk taken. For the most part I found most salary comparisons followed these guidelines. There was one comparison I could not understand. I think that a sport athletes salary and any other person who is willing to put their life at risk for the sake of others, should have comparilable salaries which in most cases is not what is happening.

2. Do you believe in the American Dream, that is, that by working hard, you and/or your children can be more economically successful than previous generations in your family?

I believe that each person has their own interpretation of what their "American Dream" is. Unfortunately, I do believe that societies overall dream is to be more "economically successful than previous generations in your family." My hope for current and future generation "American Dreamers" is they broaden their meaning of their dream and simplify it at the same time, giving it a one word definition, Happiness. I chose this word because I believe it to be universal through all cultures. It encompasses all the little things each one of us breaks Happiness into. Besides, having practiced being happy while trying to turn every negative moment that happens throughout the day into a positive. It is without a doubt easier to contiue smiling through the negatives to the next positive, than it is to smile, frown, smile, frown.

The design of a web site is very important for presenting a favorable face to the customer. Similarly, the design of a business in SL is of chief importance. In a world where anything goes design wise, how do you want your customer service representatives to appear? Recommendations for exercise during pregnancy has changed so much over the years because of the lack of information when the guidelines for exercise during pregnancy were published in 1985 (pg. 341). They limited pregnant women's exercise to no more than 15 minutes a day because they thought rigorous exercise would increase pregnancy complications such as low birth weight, preterm labor and maternal conditions. Pregnant women are now suppose to exercise at least 150 minutes in a week. When pregnant women exercise, it lowers the risk for gestational diabetes and preterm delivery. It also keeps the women's bodies healthy which help the baby as well. Exercising also reduces the time in delivery and the way that your responds after delivery. I know for myself I exercised about five to six times a week up until a week before having my son and I ended up having a c-section due to his stubbornness and my body responded well afterwards and I think it was due to the healthy lifestyle that i continued while being pregnant. 2.. As it states in our text "If the mother has an exercise plan already in place, she should continue that routine until she feels like she needs modifications"(pg. 347). ...Experiment 8 Lab Report Analysis of Oxidizing Capacity of Bleach The goal of this lab is to perform a titration of a sample of bleach with thiosulfate, figuring the end point with a starch indicator. We will determine the percent mass of sodium hypochlorite in bleach by using the volume of sodium thiosulfate needed to reach the end point. This value represents the oxidizing capacity of the unknown bleach. At the end, we will create two redox reactions to determine the overall chemical reaction that occurs during this process. I think that my oxidizing capacity will be 5.0g. Most bleach contains salts with the hypochlorite ion, the oxidizing agent that removes stains and whitens them. The hypochlorite ion usually comes in the form of sodium hypochlorite, NaOCl, or calcium hypochlorite. The two oxidation reduction reactions that occur during this experiment are first the oxidation of iodide to iodine, I2(aq), by the hypochlorite ion and then making the aqueous iodine reduce back to iodide by titrating it with sodium thiosulfate. The overall stoichiometry of the reaction is one mole of hypochlorous acid, formed by placing the sodium hypochlorite into acidic solution, plus two moles of the thiosulfate ion plus hydrogen ions from the solution yielding one mole of chlorite anions, one mole of the tetrasulfur hexoxide anion and one mole of liquid water. Viewers expecting to sit back, relax and switch off for a couple of hours - this film is not for you. A barrage of dream sequences interrupted by brief encounters with endless characters; this is a piece of shamelessly self indulgent psychoanalysis on Fellini's part. Of course, this is exactly what he intended. The main character is that of Guido (played by Fellini himself) a director unable to complete his latest film and loosely based on the identity of his own creator (Fellini). Fellini has been able to achieve the effect of mise en abyme not only through the dream sequences but also with this being an autobiographical piece. Viewers are intentionally lulled into the false belief that they are watching a film about Fellini, not the character Guido. Throughout, obvious references to the films chaos and irregularities are made by characters through their criticism of the unfinished, fictional film. When giving Guido notes on his film, one character calls it 'a chain of gratuitous episodes' which pretty much describes Fellini's 8½ to perfection. In another scene Guido is criticised for his obsession with depicting 'Italy's Catholic conscience' which is also a reoccurring motif of Fellini's.
