In the society today, people are more ignorant and they actually rely on doctors whenever they meet such situations. They have the idea that doctors are meant to save people no matter how risky a situation is. However, most people do not know the consequences behind all these. This universal notion has become something so common in the recent years. I personally felt that doctors are innocent in such situations. They should not be blamed whenever they vow not to help the accident victims.
Instead, legal community such as lawyers are individuals who we should point the finger at. Legal community has placed physicians into positions where hesitation and fear come along in their everyday life. No doubt that doctors should be responsible to help those who are in need, however, with the strict laws and pressure exerted by this legal community, you wouldn't be surprise that most doctors would choose not to risk their own life or career just to save another stranger. This human nature is inevitable. However, if the situation changes; doctors would not be blamed or sued by the legal community, I would assure that there wouldn't be such a problem anymore. Even if something that was not expected happens, at least doctors have tried their best rather than not putting an effort to give a try at all. Legal community should stop this immediately and considers the consequences and adverse effects which affected not only the doctors but also the society.
