1. Conduct education among staff on SIRS/SEPSIS
2. Conduct Triage Classes emphasizing on SIRS/SEPSIS
3. Work with HC point person to:
• Ensure accurate Data and Information gathering via Demographics capture
• Modify SIRS/SEPSIS Order Set and limit hard stops
Add / modify VS alert tailored fir for identified SIRS/SEPSIS patient
Meron Legesse will conduct research to gather case scenarios basing on the identified contributing factors to diagnostic and treatment errors:
• Lack of or inadequate patient assessment
• Delay or failure to start the appropriate testing (labs, EKG, MRI, CT)
• Delay or failure to start appropriate treatment
• Failure to note all available clinical information
