Donald Henry Gaskins Donald Henry Gaskins was born March 13, 1933 in Florence County, South Carolina. He passed away September 6, 1991 in Columbia, South Carolina. Donald was the son of Eulea Parrott. Eulea wasn’t married at the time when she was pregnant with Donald. She had many boyfriends while Donald grew up and they casually beat Donald for being around. He started to raise himself while Eulea hardly protected him from her lovers. When Donald’s mother married, the stepfather beat him and his four half siblings on the daily.

Criminal Activities
Donald robbed people when he was younger. He started working in a garage and he met three boys named Danny and Marsh. They were close to his age and they were out of school too. The teamed up and called …show more content…
He didn’t want anymore inmates to pick on him and rape him. Meanwhile, he came up with a plan to make sure everyone knew he was the “big man” in the prison. Donald looked around the prison to find the biggest and meanest inmate in the prison. The man's name was Hazel Brazell He got to know him and gained his trust, then slit his throat and was charged with manslaughter then spent 6 months in solitary confinement. Police were on the lookout for Donald and eventually found him again. Then they recognized that he was an escaped convict and charged with aiding an escape, knifing a prisoner, and driving a stolen car. These charges made him receive 3 years in a Federal Prison in Atlanta, Georgia. Donald confessed to 100+ murders while on death row and was convicted of 8 murders. He went for certain people like prostitutes, women, hitchhikers, drug dealers, men and children. They were typically white Americans. His victims were Janice Kirby(his niece at age 15), and her friend Patricia Ann Alsbrook(age 17). Donald’s modus operandi was to rape and sometimes eat his victims.
