...Organizational Change Plan - Part II Crystal Muir University of Phoenix Creating Change within Organizations HCS/587 Virginia Weatherston July 16, 2014 Organizational Change Plan - Part II Patient satisfaction scores related to pain management continues to be a struggle at Banner Hospital, so it is important that a new pain management process becomes implemented. If nurses become better educated on pain management and how to asses it, if pain goals are discussed and written on the whiteboards, and if pain assessments are included in hourly rounding, pain would be better controlled and patient satisfaction scores would increase. Change, however, is never easy to implement. Once change begins, monitoring the implementation process is important to evaluate the effectiveness, the quality of the change, and how it will affect staffing. Communication also plays a vital role in the implementing process, as keeping everyone informed and empowered is important in order for change to be successful. The proposed solution to help implement the change would be to hold educational programs about pain management and assessments that each and every medical-surgical unit nurse would need to attend. The educational program will be held three times per week for each shift to complete. The program will be mandatory and each week a certain nursing unit will be assigned until all units/nurses have attended the educational program. The educational program for pain management and assessment...

...Commercial Paper Thomas K. Hahn C ommercial paper is a short-term unsecured promissory note issued by corporations and foreign governments. For many large, creditworthy issuers, commercial paper is a low-cost alternative to bank loans. Issuers are able to efficiently raise large amounts of funds quickly and without expensive Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registration by selling paper, either directly or through independent dealers, to a large and varied pool of institutional buyers. Investors in commercial paper earn competitive, market-determined yields in notes whose maturity and amounts can be tailored to their specific needs. Because of the advantages of commercial paper for both investors and issuers, commercial paper has become one of America’s most important debt markets. ...Huy Tran CSBS 330 Dr. Dale Lindekugel Lab 1 I. I would like to research a topic on public education system and it’s responsibility on the deprivation of students’ creativity II. A couple months ago, I watched a video in which Sir Ken Robinson -a British international advisor on education speaks at TED conference. He made the case that schools, on one hand, claim to better our future, turn out on the other hand to be the force that vanish our creativity, to make talented, brilliant people think otherwise. I’m fascinated by his speech and can’t help but agree with him on that. He speaks for many of us students that the education system in the US and the world is similar in the way that it doesn’t allow students to be who they want to be. Schools set in students’ minds the standard and benchmark of what the workforce want from them instead of leading them onto the path of their true passions or things that feed their spirit. He gave an example of world-renowned choreographer Gillian Lynne, who’s also known for her work in “ Cats” and “ Phantom of opera”. When she was little, she couldn’t pay attention to study at school, and was thought to have learning disorder. But little did that school know she was born to dance. So, after transferring to a dance school, she took off and became successful millionaire. Our education system doesn’t give art, drama, music or anything creativity driven classes the same status...

...A budget is a statement containing a forecast of revenues and expenditures for aperiod of time, usually a year. It is a comprehensive plan of action designed toachieve the policy objectives set by the government for the coming year. A budget isa plan and a budget document is a reflection of what the government expects to doin future. While any plan need not be a budget, a budget has to be necessarily aplan. It shows detailed &location of resources and propod taxation or othermeasures for their realisation. More specifically, a budget contains information about: i) plans, programmes, pro~ects, chemes and activities-current as well as new sydwm-I proposals for the coming year;ii) resource position and income from different sources, including tax and non-taxrevenues;iii) actual receipts and expenditure for the previous year; andiv) economic, statistical and accounting data regarding financial and physicalperformance of the various agencies and organs of the government. A budget is, however, not a balance sheet (exhibiting total assets and liabilities) ofthe government on a particular date but refers only to information explained above. It is a financial blueprint for action and is, therefore, of great advantage togovernment departments, legislatures and citizens. Merits i) As already stated, the rationale for this type of classification was the need tofacilitate control and accountability. ...Marissa Prentice Chapter 14 Case Problems BUSLW 3253-01 Q1: The court should rule that the contract is voidable. If a person is not judged incompetent, any contract entered into by the person is voidable if the individual does not know he or she is entering into a contract or lacks the capacity to comprehend its subject matter, consequences, and nature. Capacity is the mental ability to make a rational decision. It must be shown that because of Frank’s affliction, he was incompetent at the time of the transaction. The attorney who obtained Frank’s signature claims that he was aware of what he was doing at the time the contract was being signed, but the nursing summaries indicated he was having lucid periods on that day. The contract can be voided if Norman can prove that his father was incompetent on the day he signed. Therefore, the court should rule that the contract is voidable. Q2: Yes, the car dealer will succeed in his claim. Generally, a minor has the power to disaffirm most contracts he makes while a minor and for a reasonable time after reaching majority. However, a contract entered into by a minor can be ratified after the minor has reached the age of majority. Generally, an executed contract is ratified if the consideration is retained by the minor for an unreasonable time after the minor reaches the age of majority. Because Smith made 10 monthly payments on the vehicle after he reached the age of majority, it is reasonable to believe that he ratified the contract...

Men hur ser svenskan ut i framtiden då?

...Analysis of Blanche tragic life Abstract : As one of the most important play writers of America after the World War Ⅱ, Tennessee Williams won lots of theatrical awards for his masterpiece A Streetcar Named Desire. As a result, Blanche, the heroine in the play, had been the focus point of the critics. This thesis tries to analyze profoundly the cause of the tragedy of Blanche from several aspects .As Williams T concluded, ‘The heroine Blanche was struggling between reality and fantasy, finally, her spirit was broken drastically under the beat of ruthless reality. She was the typical weak woman and victim in the patriarchal society. Her tragedy shows that the woman can’t escape the control of the typical patriarchal society in any case of resistances.’(Williams, 2).Some of William’s points will be elaborated in this paper which includes four parts. Chapter one serves as an “introduction”, which gives a general review of main characters in the novel. Chapter two, “Character of Blanche” ,Blanche’s being trapped by the conventionality; Blanche’s illusion about men; Blanche’s illusion about herself; her husband’s suicide; Stanley’s rude behavior and sense of dominance; Stella’s betrayal; Mitch’s desertion and the cold realistic world. In conclusion, it is the Blanche’s illusion about men ,herself and cruelty of Stanley that mainly causes her tragedy. Keywords: tragedy conventionality illusion 1.Introduction 1.1 Review of the protagonist In Tennessee Williams' "A Streetcar...
