While there are several bed & breakfasts and boutique inns within Salt Lake City, none can boast a finer location than the Canard House. The inn provides a unique historical setting in a prime location within close proximity to events, dining and transportation. It has unobstructed views of both the Salt Lake Valley and Wasatch mountain range, and is situated in a 450 acre preserve surrounded by picturesque and historic structures. Currently, all advertising has been done by the in-house marketing department. A SWOT analysis of the company shows that there are good opportunities for expansion into other markets and that the threats and weaknesses that exist can be overcome or managed by an already dedicated senior staff with some additional training and direction. Product delivery and customer service can be streamlined by utilizing updated technology such as an AS/RS in CanGo’s warehouses. An online customer support and service center will improve customer experiences. A competitive advantage can be expected with state of the art product delivery and improved customer service. Strategically, CanGo needs to expand in order to stay ahead of growing competition. Legacy Consultants recommends purchasing Webjouster as the way to enter into online gaming. CanGo should stay away from offering violent games in order to maintain brand integrity. Server capacity should be increased in order to accommodate expansion demand with minimal down-time.
