ECPI’s Honor Pledge: I pledge to support the Honor System of ECPI. I will refrain from any form of academic dishonesty or deception, such as cheating or plagiarism. I am aware that as a member of the academic community it is my responsibility to turn in all suspected violators of the honor code. I understand that any failure on my part to support the Honor System will be turned over to a Judicial Review Board for determination. I will report to a Judicial Review Board hearing if summoned.

Abstract: In this Lab I will be using the particular JFET in each circuit to find the VDS, VGS, ID, IDss and the VGS(off). In the second circuit I will be using RD and RS to find RD. In the third circuit I will use th JFET to find the Q point voltage divider bias. In the Fourth Circuit I will use the Digital Multi-meter to find the fault.

Introduction: The reason I am performing this lab is to apply the formulas to the circuit and calculate the results. I will hook testing equipment to the circuit and calculate the results then compare them both to figure out if the circuit is faulty.

Results & Figures:
1. Lab E08-06
Objective: Use the JFET circuit to find VDS and VGS. Also find the VDS,VGSS and ID

Results: Vs= IdRs =(5mA)( 220ohm)=1.1V
VD= VDD- IDRD= 15V-(5mA)(1.0kohms)=15V-5V=10V
VDS=VD-VS=10V-1.1V= 8.9
VG=0
VGS=VG-VS=0V-1.1= -1.1V

[pic]

Conclusion: Using the formula given I was able to find VD and VGS.

2. Lab E08-09
Objective: Using the select resistors values for RD and RS find the idpoint bias.

Results: ID=IDss/2= 1.0mA/2=0.5mA

Four Rules for Effective Negotiations 8:30 AM Tuesday July 28, 2009 | Comments (19) I've been involved in many negotiations in my career. They've all been different in some ways, and alike in others. But through them all, I've identified four "golden rules" to be the most helpful towards productive negotiation outcomes. The rules parallel different stages of a negotiation: 1. The background homework: Before any negotiation begins, understand the interests and positions of the other side relative to your own interests and positions. Put these points down and spend time in advance seeing things from the other side. 2. During the process: Don't negotiate against yourself. This is especially true if you don't fully know the position of the other side. Much is learned about what the other side really wants during the actual negotiation process. Stay firm on your initial set of positions and explain your rationale but don't give in too early...

Voip Advantages and Disadvantages

...I’ll also explain why a Hybrid system may be your best solution in the final paragraph. VoIP service provider companies, such as net2phone (IDT Corp) and iConnectHere (DeltaThree Corp.), started selling VoIP phone service back in the 1990’s. My personal experience back then was that the quality was very poor mostly due to lack of sufficient bandwidth, internet speed and compression techniques. Today there are hundreds of VoIP phone service providers. Some of the more popular ones are Vonage, Skype, Broadvoice, Time Warner Phone, Lingo, Packet8, EarthCaller, Ooma, Oovoo and MagicJack. I feel that I should mention at this point that anyone could use VoIP service providing you have high-speed internet access. VoIP phone service will work with your existing telephones. It can be used in either a residence...

This site is a wonderful Cliff Notes to Bloom’s Taxonomy. The reference page is most helpful. However, I would also add a booklist for your reader. You only had one picture of the theory. I would challenge you to include more pictures and graphs for your reader. It just make things fun for us to see and feel. (Houghton, 2004). Fortunately we do not have to begin from scratch in searching for answers to this complicated question. The Communities Resolving Our Problems (C.R.O.P.) recommends, "One place to begin is in defining the nature of thinking.
