While watching the film Eight Days, produced by Jaco Booyens, my perspective on life forever changed. Eight Days is a documentary about Amber, a teenage girl who sneaks out to attend a party with her friends, she is given alcohol and is kidnapped, raped and is forced into the world of human sex trafficking. Amber finds herself in the middle of a human sex trafficking business for eight perplexing days. Jaco Booyens film brings to light the many horrific unknown parts to the human sex trafficking operation that go unnoticed every day. Booyens does an extraordinary job introducing the characters very quickly so that there is an immediate connection with the girls.
