Check metal particles or foreign materials in filter, on sump drain plug, and on engine suction screen replaced filter, and refill for recommended grade aviation oil. | | 2. Induction of Air Filter – remove and clean. Inspect for damage and remove. | | 3. Cylinder, Oil Sump, Accessory Section and Front Crankshaft Seal – inspect for crankshaft evidence oil leakage. Check bolt and nut looseness and torque as necessary. Check crankcase seal breather line for obstruction security and general condition. | | 4. Intake and Exhaust System –inspect for crack and security special check in area of heat exchange, and inspect for leakage in intake manifold | | 5. Engine Control And linkage – Check general condition freedom of movement through full range check for proper travel, security for attachment and for evidence of wear, check friction of lock and venire adjustment for proper operation. Check that throttle and fuel mixture arm operate through their full arc travel. | | 6. Check cowl flaps control for freedom of movement through full travel | | FUEL SYSTEM | 1. Fuel Tank Vent, Caps and Placards – Check vent for obstruction and proper positioning. Check valve for operation, and check placard fuel capacity | | 3. Main Gear Wheel and Fairing –Check week Fairing strut and cuffs, check for crack, dent and condition of point. | | 2. Nose Gear Wheel, Torque Link Steering Rods – boots and fairing inspect torque link, steering rods and booth for conditioning and security of attachment, check strut barrel for corrosion fitting and cleanliness, check shimmy damper and bungee for operation, leakage and attach point for wear and security | | 3. Tires – Check tread wear and general condition, check for proper inflation. | | 4. Parking Brake – check/test toe brake and parking brake for proper operation and security of attachment and rigging. | | 5. Brake Fluid, Line and Hoses, Lining Disc, Brake Assemble and Master Cylinder – inspect for wear crank warp, dent or other damage, check wheel through bolt and nut for looseness: Check fluid level on master cylinder line hose for leakage. Lining for proper thickness. And proper operation and security of attachment. | | CONTROL SYSTEM | 1. Trip Control wheel, Indicator Actuator and Bungee – check free-play, limits trim tab free play inspection. If limit are exceeded, lubricate and re-check if free-play exceed limit, actuator must be overhauled or replaced. | | 2. Flaps Control Switch, Flaps Roller and Track and Flaps Indicator – check for condition and proper operation. Check track roller and control rod end bearing for corrosion and proper adjustment of indicator. | | 3. AIRFRAME | 1. Aircraft Exterior – Inspect for skin damage, Loose rivets, paint and check pitot-static port and hole for obstruction inspect cover and fairing for security. Inspect placard and decal. | | 2. Window, Windshield, Door and Seal – inspect general condition, and check latches, hinges and seal for condition operation and security of attachment | | 3. Defrosting Heating, Ventilating System and Control – check inlet and outlet, inspect all line duct, clamp seal, gasket for condition restriction and security | | 4. Seat Belt and Shoulder Harness – check front and rear seat belt for thinning, fraying, cutting and broken stitches or ultra violet deterioration. Check system hardware for security of installation. | | 5. Instrument and Marking – Check general condition and marking for legibility. | | 6. Light Switches, Circuit Breaker Fuses and Spare Fuse – check operation and condition. Check availability and condition of spare fuse. | | 7. Exterior Light – check Nav light beacon, strobe and landing light, condition of light check operation condition of lens and security attachment | | 8. Radios, Radio Control, Avionics and Flight Instrument – Check general condition and operation of radio control and avionic light instrument marking and security of attachment. | | 9.
