I can see all different type of people running around young and old. It looks as though there are several hundred people at the carnival. The smell of cotton candy and popcorn is very strong in the air. There is a giant Ferris wheel turning in the sky. I can see the people that are on the ride waving their hands, kicking their feet and screaming to the top of their lungs. The kids are having such a wonderful time as they slam into each other while driving the bumping cars. I see people standing in line at the food booths waiting to purchase some of the cuisine which include hot dogs, hamburger, and seafood just to name a few. I believe that the purpose behind this article is to appeal to the reader’s unrealized dark side. King implies that are able to overcome their hysterical fear of things when they’re confronted with it and watching a horror movie is the easiest way to do that. I read a few articles that talk about sex offenders in a few different states. In the first article it speak about how Minnesota at one point had no laws as far as sex offenders having to register where they live at and work as a sex offender. There was a woman who had a son who was abducted at the age of 12 and he was never found she sought out justice for this. In her investigations she found that other states had laws for sex offenders where they would have to register in their county as an offender and they could not live within a certain amount of distance where there could possibly be kids around. The woman suggested that if this law were in place in her home town where her son was abducted from then the possibility of this every happening would be slim because at least the surrounding neighbors would be aware that there was someone living around them that was a possible danger to children. The first one is writing an email to a friend or even to you. The second one is to stop procrastinating; I find that a lot of people, even myself, are a big victim to this one. When it comes down to writing an email to a friend or yourself, I feel this is a great strategy because if your mind does go blank you have templates to return too at any given point. On top of that if you do lose any of your writings it is always good to have a second copy not backed up on your computer. It can be on your phone or on a good friend’s computer. My other selection is procrastination. There are a lot of people out there that are the biggest victims of this. I feel the best way to avoid this is to just jump into it.
