End of Unit Reflection Questions 1. On which assignments throughout the unit did you do your best work?
I enjoyed the work from the LabSim sections that we can work through every week. They are my favorite. Even though the textbooks are very informative, there is so much that you have to read. The fact that the LabSim has the interactive video and you can read the information with the video is my favorite. By doing the exam at the end of the sections, also shows where you do the best work. 2. Did you enjoy a certain assignment, lesson, or topic more than the others?
I found this section to be a little slow. I do understand that is it an important subject, since it is what connects a user to the internet. But the way it works is interesting, but reading about it is not always. 3. Can you connect any of the things you learned to the real world?

4. Do you feel like you were successful throughout the unit?
This unit I found to be very informative and it provided a lot of knowledge towards something that is not in place yet. I read about IPv6 before, but not so much in depth. So my success in getting through the module was great. The one thing that I learned, that I did not know about before was about there being an IPv5. 5. Feel free to add anything related to the unit such as suggestions on improvements.
I went through a lot of the reading and research provided to us. I find the CISCO command assignment I spend a lot of time on it. I have used the textbook for reference, but have a hard time finding what I need. Maybe, if there is a more dedicated reference for those commands, it would help us get the work in

...facilitating workplace learning module. INTRODUCTION As a requirement for the pre-registration program in Nilai University, I have to take Facilitating Workplace learning module. The aim of this module is to enable me to become a better facilitator in the future. Having experiences from my previous clinical posting, I realized that nursing profession is not only about patient’s bedside care, but also workplace improvement by facilitating others for example students, colleagues and patient health teaching. Gopee (2011) defined facilitating learning is that the learner becomes aware that they should be the originator of their thinking, meaning to say the learner should take more control of their learning instead of passively receive information from the teacher. In addition, facilitating learning is usually form part of healthcare’s professional code, as mentioned in code of practice by Nursing Midwifery Council (2008) that registered nurse must be willing to share their experiences and skills for the good of their colleagues and must facilitate student and others to develop their competent. In order to fulfill this subject, I have two main parts to complete. First, a plan for facilitating a learning session applied all the relevant theories that have been lecturing, and the second part, I am going to write here is a reflective essay using Gibb’s (1988) reflective cycle on what I have learn from this module and my learning from the observed session. In this paper, I used the Gibbs cycle...

...Discuss how self-assessment, goal setting, models of reflection and the use of feedback can help you in your own learning development. Illustrate your own points by using examples drawn from your own university experience so far including portfolio activities. This paper is going to discuss my own personal learning development on my journey through university so far. This will be done by assessing myself through different portfolio activities I have undertaken as part of the academic study skills module, namely activities one, two, three, four and seven. I will also review goals I set myself as well as reflecting upon my learning experiences. I will do this by using the Kolb’s Cycle of Experimental Learning (McLeod, 2013) finally concluding on what I have learnt through this process. According to Heidi Andrade and Anna Valtcheva (2009) self-assessment is crucial in order for our learning to develop. They believe that this is so we can identify our strengths and weaknesses and to determine which areas we may need to improve upon. One of the portfolio activities I had to complete was a self-assessment audit (portfolio activity one) which consisted of a series of questions that related to different skills I possess. Such as my information technology skills or how I handle any problems I may encounter and I had to rate myself on how well I thought my skills were. At the end of the audit I received a score of ninety-six out of a possible one hundred and thirty-nine...
