Tips for Using this Booklet

Choose three topics only: although the articles in this booklet cover a range of areas you only need to focus on three in your essay. You may choose to look at another topic not covered in this booklet but check with your tutor if you are unsure if it is suitable.

Read selectively: the journal article in section 4 contains a lot of useful information about the UK as well as other countries. However, it is quite long and contains quite a lot of historical background information in the first few pages which will not necessarily be useful for your assignment. Use the sub-headings to focus on the sections that will be most useful to you.

Use only relevant details: Be selective when choosing the information you want to include and make sure it remains relevant to the topic of the paragraph. E.g. If the paragraph is on the structure of the education system, do not start discussing any aspects of the funding here.

Check for equivalent information: Before deciding whether to include a certain piece of information or statistic, check if you can find similar details about the other country you are writing about. E.g. If you want to include the fact that the UK spend 5.2% of its GDP on education, you should try to find a similar figure for the other country, otherwise there...

Human Resource in Hospitality

...Human Resources Research Paper 4/16/2014 Benefits There are many benefits that employers offer to their employees to attract that to work at their company. Human Resources provides benefits in six core areas, Health which includes (medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and health care flexible spending accounts), Retirement (university provided retirement contributions and employee retirement savings vehicles), Tuition (for employees and eligible children of employees), Life Insurance (basic and supplemental life and AD&D insurance, and life insurance for dependents), Disability Insurance (short- and long-term disability and workers' compensation), Lifestyle Support (such as child care, EAP, transportation, banking, paid time off, and other benefits). In our research paper we will explore how some of these benefits affect the social, political and ethical areas of Great Britain and Australia. Life Insurance Human resource is a very difficult subject. It has so many different aspects to cover. The manual for human resource is so long but every area is important and has to be covered. Benefits are what every employee looks forward when looking for a job, though I believe many applicants don’t ask the question about life insurance. Life insurance is a touchy subject but I believe that every person should be insured for themselves and their loved ones. Not being covered whether it’s with or without your companies can leave financial hardship on your loved......

Charges for private patients can be approximately the same as those assessed in the United States but vary from physician to physician. University professors are likely to charge higher fees than other doctors on the list. These fees, however, in view of the physicians’ standing in the medical community are not considered excessive. Tourists should be prepared to pay in cash when they visit a doctor. For hospital admittance, except in emergency cases, a deposit is usually required to cover a five day stay. All cities, town and rural areas in Bavaria will have University, City or County Hospitals. You will generally find physicians with basic English knowledge. Any hotel manager will assist you, in case of illness, in finding appropriate doctors or medical care. As a general rule, patients are admitted into hospitals through their physicians, except in emergencies. 1|Page Contents Anesthesiologists: 3 Chiropractors: 3 Dentists/Dental...
