How to Flush a Tankless Water Heater
Tankless water heaters are popular among homeowners and many other users, thanks to their ability to continuously supply hot water on demand. Remarkably, they are environmentally friendly.
But, do you know how to clean tankless water heater? It is imperative to do this regularly. I personally prefer doing this twice a year.
However, if you check your model manual, chances are you will come across a recommendation to flush your tank annually.
This is because the tank’s functionality and design require maintenance in order to function efficiently and effectively with time. In the long run, you increase its durability.
Flushing your tank helps save significant amounts of energy as opposed to traditional tankless

Remember, you want to be sure any remnants that might be stuck in the tank are thoroughly cleaned. Let open the shutoff valve on the tank unit before doing all hose disconnections.
Step 6: The strainer clean up I never consider water tankless heater complete unless the in-line filter is also clean. This is to help remove any kind of sediment that might be stuck in the strainer, use a cleaning agent that is not corrosive to the make of your strainer.
I recommend you let the whole unit dry up a little bit before reinstalling the filter. 20 minutes should be enough.
Consider closing the cold water supply port before you detach the hose from the pump. Remember, the vinegar drainage to the bucket? This is the right time to pour out its contents and clean it up.
Step 7: Testing the unit
For the flushing to be complete and satisfactory, this is probably the best time to open the cold water supply line through the tankless water heater. Allow the water to flow through for about eight minutes to allow flushing again to clear away any kind of vinegar that might be stuck in the unit. Detach the hoses and let the supply line to the rest of your home resume as

Pollution of Air

...INTRODUCTION With the great concern surrounding the destruction of the earth's atmosphere due to air pollution, the immediate and direct harm caused to the human body is often over shadowed. While many are aware that our careless use of hazardous chemicals and fossil fuels may leave the planet uninhabitable in the future, most over look the fact that they also cause real damage to our bodies at this moment. Such pollutants cause damage to our respiratory system, leading to the fluctuation of the life span of an individual depending on a number of conditions. Amongst these conditions are the individuals specific geographic location, age, and life style. In this essay I will try to explain what pollutants are and how they affect our bodies. What are the pollutants? And how do they affect our bodies?  In order to understand how air pollution affects our body, you must understand exactly what this pollution is. The pollutants that harm our respiratory system are known as particulates. Particulates are the small solid particles that you can see through a ray of sunlight. They are products of incomplete combustion in engines example: automobile engines, road dust, and wood smoke. Billions of tons of coal and oil are consumed around the world every year.  When these fuels burn they produce smoke and other by-products into the atmosphere. Although wind and rain occasionally wash away the smoke given off by power plants and automobiles, much still remains. Particulate matter......

...Chapter 2 ENERGY CONVERSION AND GENERAL ENERGY ANALYSIS W hether we realize it or not, energy is an important part of most aspects of daily life. The quality of life, and even its sustenance, depends on the availability of energy. Therefore, it is important to have a good understanding of the sources of energy, the conversion of energy from one form to another, and the ramifications of these conversions. Energy exists in numerous forms such as thermal, mechanical, electric, chemical, and nuclear. Even mass can be considered a form of energy. Energy can be transferred to or from a closed system (a fixed mass) in two distinct forms: heat and work. For control volumes, energy can also be transferred by mass flow. An energy transfer to or from a closed system is heat if it is caused by a temperature difference. Otherwise it is work, and it is caused by a force acting through a distance. We start this chapter with a discussion of various forms of energy and energy transfer by heat. We then introduce various forms of work and discuss energy transfer by work. We continue with developing a general intuitive expression for the first law of thermodynamics, also known as the conservation of energy principle, which is one of the most fundamental principles in nature, and we then demonstrate its use. Finally, we discuss the efficiencies of some familiar energy conversion processes, and examine the impact on energy conversion on the environment. Detailed......

Greening the South Asian Economy

...South Asian Economic Students Meet 2012 | Agenda for Greening the South Asian Economy | Potential Energy Saving Capabilities of Emerging Cities: A Case of Hyderabad | L. Sai Anurag 11/10/2012 | Essay Proposal Since gaining Independence, the Indian Subcontinent has been one of the most promising areas for development and has increasingly made its presence felt in the global economic scenario with rapid progress in both the manufacturing and the services sector. India is the second fastest growing economy in the world, with a GDP growth rate of 9.4 percent in the financial year 2006-07. However, due to the impact of the global recession the policy paralysis in the country growth rate had fallen to 5.3% in Q4 FY’12. Contraction is the manufacturing sector and the falling rupee has deteriorated India’s position further. The resultant impact of the initial rapid GDP growth has been an increase in the per capita GDP and also an increase in the income levels of both rural and urban households. Achieving this growth also meant a tremendous rise in the use of energy across all the sectors of the economy as well albeit at a slower pace. The major point of concern here is not the magnitude of energy driving this growth but the quality and structure of this energy growth. India has immensely contributed to the growth of the South Asian Economy by taking up economic reforms and giving a tremendous boost to industry. India’s favorable demographic mix, its abundance...

I Want a Wife

...(Narrative Essay) JUDY BRADY I Want a Wife (1971) Judy Brady’s essay became an instant classic when it appeared in 1971 in the premier issue of the feminist magazine Ms. As you read, analyze the definitions of “husband” and “wife” that Brady uses, and consider why this essay became so powerful in the 1970s. I belong to that classification of people known as wives. I am A Wife. And, not altogether incidentally, I am a mother. Not too long ago a male friend of mine appeared on the scene fresh from a recent divorce. He had one child, who is, of course, with his ex-wife. He is looking for another wife. As I thought about him while I was ironing one evening, it suddenly occurred to me that I, too, would like to have a wife. Why do I want a wife? I would like to go back to school so that I can become economically independent, support myself, and, if need be, support those dependent upon me. I want a wife who will work and send me to school. And while I am going to school I want a wife to take care of my children. I want a wife to keep track of the children’s doctor and dentist appointments. And to keep track of mine, too. I want a wife to make sure my children eat properly and are kept clean. I want a wife who will wash the children’s clothes and keep them mended. I want a wife who is a good nurturant attendant to my children, who arranges for their schooling, makes sure that they have an adequate social life with their peers, takes them to the park, the zoo, etc. I want a...
