Our expanding digital borders have given rise to a new marketplace for business, entertainment, education, and communication. This burgeoning new environment has become what it is today largely due to it's low barriers to entry, speed, and wide reach (“The Information Age”). An underlying principle that has enabled the success of the Internet is that of network neutrality, a term coined by Columbian Law School Professor Tim Wu in regards to how networks, and more importantly Internet Service Providers (ISPs), handle data.
