Despite, Toyota’s philosophies of good service, and daily improvement, over nine million Toyota cars were recalled. Toyota's management began to be investigated by NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration). Team C will address issues with Toyota products and the strategies that the company used to resolve their problems. The paper will focus on four functions of management and the internal and external factors that will affect management. Toyota needed to evaluate their planning, organizing, leading, and controlling functions. This is the responsibility of management internally. Mechanics, dealerships, and customers, are external factors that also have an interest in Toyota's planning. Once the problem has been fixed, the information is sent to corporate office to determine the success rate. * Toyota Technology
Toyota took responsibility of its failure external mechanical systems, and did not ignore a potentially fatal problem. Toyota implemented a strategy control system. This system is designed to assist in evaluating repairs needed in the automobile making process. It then enables Toyota to adjust their strategy based on the discrepancies that exist, thus allowing ample time for corrective action. Toyota has a new sensory detecting device, which can detect when a car is losing control or sense a collision about to take place.
