Dehumanization is the psychological process of demonizing the enemy, making them seem less than human and hence not worthy of humane treatment. 1933 Nazi soldiers began the process of dehumanization of thousands of jews. Eva’s Story tells the horrific story of her time in the camp and of the dehumanization. Its starts with the process of going into hiding and then being caught by the Nazis. Eva tells the story of how she was ill and had to use the restroom, the kappo wouldn't let her go so she squatted outside and went. The kappo came over to her and yelled at her and beat her face until she could hear ringing. The beating not being enough then humiliated her by making her get on her knees and hold a wooden stool over her head for hours while she was ill. Each small or large action the officers performed was done so the jews would feel like they weren't worth anything, not even worth being treated like
