Avantika Ranabhat, Bancroft: Patrick Maloney, a detective, was found dead in his living room in Bancroft, Ontario. Yesterday (Thursday) evening, the police arrived at the crime scene after Mary Maloney, Mr. Maloney's wife, called them sounding panicked. The police were shocked to find their colleague and friend dead in his house.

They have found no suspect. For this reason, the investigation is still ongoing. Mrs. Maloney had stepped out to but some vegetables and when she came home she was baffled finding her husband dead.
